John Sutherland Egerton, 6th Duke of Sutherland1 
John Sutherland Egerton, 6th Duke of Sutherland was born on 10 May 1915.1 He was the son of John Francis Granville Scrope Egerton, 4th Earl of Ellesmere and Lady Violet Lambton.1 He married, firstly, Lady Diana Evelyn Percy, daughter of Alan Ian Percy, 8th Duke of Northumberland and Lady Helen Magdalan Gordon-Lennox, on 29 April 1939.3 He married, secondly, Evelyn Mary Moubray, daughter of Major Robert Moubray and Claire Wilhelmina Maud Morrison-Bell, on 16 August 1979.3 He died on 21 September 2000 at age 85, without issue.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Armoured Corps (TA.)1 He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.1 He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Gower [E., 1620] on 24 August 1944.1 He succeeded as the 8th Earl Gower [G.B., 1746] on 24 August 1944.1 He succeeded as the 6th Duke of Sutherland [U.K., 1833] on 24 August 1944.1 He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Ellesmere, of Ellesmere, Shropshire [U.K., 1846] on 24 August 1944.1 He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Brackley, of Brackley, co. York [G.B., 1703] on 24 August 1944.1 He succeeded as the 7th Marquess of Stafford [G.B., 1786] on 24 August 1944.1
Lady Eileen Gwladys Butler 
From 11 April 1912, her married name became Sutherland-Leveson-Gower. After her marriage, Lady Eileen Gwladys Butler was styled as Duchess of Sutherland on 27 June 1913. She held the office of Mistress of the Robes to HM Queen Mary between 1916 and 1921.3 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)3 She was appointed Dame of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)3

Granville Leveson-Gower, 1st Marquess of Stafford was born on 4 August 1721.1 He was the son of John Leveson-Gower, 1st Earl Gower and Lady Evelyn Pierrepont.3 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Fazakerley, daughter of Nicholas Fazakerley, on 23 December 1744.1 He married, secondly, Lady Louisa Egerton, daughter of Scroop Egerton, 1st Duke of Bridgwater and Lady Rachael Russell, on 28 March 1748.3 He married, thirdly, Lady Susanna Stewart, daughter of Alexander Stewart, 6th Earl of Galloway and Lady Catherine Cochrane, on 23 May 1768.3 He died on 26 October 1803 at age 82.1
