Lady Elizabeth Mary Leveson-Gower1 
Lady Elizabeth Mary Leveson-Gower was born on 8 November 1797. She was the daughter of George Granville Leveson-Gower, 1st Duke of Sutherland and Elizabeth Sutherland, Countess of Sutherland.1,3 She married Richard Grosvenor, 2nd Marquess of Westminster, son of Robert Grosvenor, 1st Marquess of Westminster and Lady Eleanor Egerton, on 16 September 1819.1 She died on 11 November 1891 at age 94.1
Her married name became Grosvenor. After her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Mary Leveson-Gower was styled as Marchioness of Westminster on 17 February 1845.

George Granville Leveson-Gower, 1st Duke of Sutherland was born on 9 January 1758.1 He was the son of Granville Leveson-Gower, 1st Marquess of Stafford and Lady Louisa Egerton.1 He married Elizabeth Sutherland, Countess of Sutherland, daughter of William Sutherland, 18th Earl of Sutherland and Mary Maxwell, on 4 September 1785.1 He died on 19 July 1833 at age 75.1

Elizabeth Sutherland, Countess of Sutherland was born on 24 May 1765.1 She was the daughter of William Sutherland, 18th Earl of Sutherland and Mary Maxwell.1 She married George Granville Leveson-Gower, 1st Duke of Sutherland, son of Granville Leveson-Gower, 1st Marquess of Stafford and Lady Louisa Egerton, on 4 September 1785.3 She died on 29 January 1839 at age 73.3
She gained the title of Baroness of Strathnaver. She succeeded as the 19th Countess of Sutherland [S., 1235] on 21 March 1771.1 Her married name became Leveson-Gower. After her marriage, Elizabeth Sutherland, Countess of Sutherland was styled as Marchioness of Stafford on 26 October 1803. After her marriage, Elizabeth Sutherland, Countess of Sutherland was styled as Duchess of Sutherland on 28 January 1833.
On the death of the 18th Earl of Sutherland, a contest for succession to the Earldom commenced between Sir Robert Gordon of Gordonstoun and George Sutherland, of Forse, who each asserted a better right to the honours than that inherited by the Lady Elizabeth. The question was brought before the House of Lords, and on the 21 March 1771, their Lordships decided it in favour of the deceased Earl’s only surviving daughter.

(Tory) for Lancashire between 1772 and 1784.5 He was created 1st Baron Grey de Wilton, co. Hereford [Great Britain] on 15 May 1784.1 He was created 1st Viscount Grey de Wilton [U.K.] on 26 June 1801, with special remainder, in default of male issue, to Hon. Thomas Grosvenor, his grandson, and his younger brothers.4 He was created 1st Earl of Wilton of Wilton Castle, co.
