     Granville Harcourt Vernon was born on 26 July 1792.² He was the son of Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Edward Vernon-Harcourt and Lady Anne Leveson-Gower.² He married, firstly, Frances Julia Eyre, daughter of Anthony Hardolph Eyre, on 22 February 1814.² He married, secondly, Hon. Pyne Jesse Brand Trevor, daughter of General Henry Otway Trevor, 21st Lord Dacre and Pyne Crosbie, on 22 November 1845.² He died on 8 December 1879 at age 87.²
     His name was legally changed to Granville Vernon-Harcourt.² He was given the name of Granville Venables-Vernon at birth.² He was a practising barrister.² He was Chancellor of York Diocese.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)² He lived at Grove Hall, East Retford, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹

     John Bidwell married Lady Selina Catherine Meade, daughter of Richard Charles Francis Christian Meade, 3rd Earl of Clanwilliam and Lady Elizabeth Herbert, on 8 July 1862.¹ He died on 22 August 1873.¹
     He was with the Foreign Office.¹

     Henry Arthur William Hervey married Lady Selina Catherine Meade, daughter of Richard Charles Francis Christian Meade, 3rd Earl of Clanwilliam and Lady Elizabeth Herbert, on 14 August 1880.¹ He died on 11 May 1908.¹
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Frances Julia Eyre was the daughter of Anthony Hardolph Eyre. She married Granville Harcourt Vernon, son of Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Edward Vernon-Harcourt and Lady Anne Leveson-Gower, on 22 February 1814.¹ She died on 5 February 1844.¹
     From 22 February 1814, her married name became Harcourt Vernon.¹

     Anthony Hardolph Eyre married Francisca Alicia Wilbraham-Bootle, daughter of Richard Wilbraham-Bootle and Mary Bootle, in 1783.²

Pyne Jesse Brand Trevor was the daughter of General Henry Otway Trevor, 21st Lord Dacre and Pyne Crosbie.^2,1 She married, firstly, John Henry Cotterell, son of Sir John Geers Cotterell, 1st Bt. and Frances Isabella Evans, in August 1828.² She married, secondly, Granville Harcourt Vernon, son of Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Edward Vernon-Harcourt and Lady Anne Leveson-Gower, on 22 November 1845.² She died on 3 March 1872.²
     From August 1828, her married name became Cotterell. From 22 November 1845, her married name became Harcourt-Vernon.

     John Henry Cotterell was born on 15 April 1800.¹ He was the son of Sir John Geers Cotterell, 1st Bt. and Frances Isabella Evans.² He married Hon. Pyne Jesse Brand Trevor, daughter of General Henry Otway Trevor, 21st Lord Dacre and Pyne Crosbie, in August 1828.¹ He died on 3 January 1834 at age 33.²

     Emily Georgiana Bagot was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Charles Bagot and Lady Mary Charlotte Anne Wellesley-Pole.¹ She married George William Finch-Hatton, 10th Earl of Winchilsea, son of George Finch-Hatton and Lady Elizabeth Mary Murray, on 15 February 1837.¹ She died on 10 July 1848, without issue.¹
     After her marriage, Emily Georgiana Bagot was styled as Countess of Winchilsea on 15 February 1837. From 15 February 1837, her married name became Finch-Hatton.

     Frances Margaretta Rice was born on 7 November 1820.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Royds Rice and Elizabeth Knight.² She married George William Finch-Hatton, 10th Earl of Winchilsea, son of George Finch-Hatton and Lady Elizabeth Mary Murray, on 17 October 1849.³ She died on 26 April 1909 at age 88.³
     From 17 October 1849, her married name became Finch-Hatton. After her marriage, Frances Margaretta Rice was styled as Countess of Winchilsea on 17 October 1849.

     Edward Royds Rice was born on 25 April 1790.^2,3 He was the son of Captain Henry Rice and Sarah Samson.^4,3 He married Elizabeth Knight, daughter of Edward Knight and Elizabeth Bridges, on 6 October 1818.^4,3 He died on 27 November 1878 at age 88 at Eastry, Kent, England^G.²
     He played cricket for Middlesex and Surrey.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dover between 1837 and 1857.³ He lived at Dane Court, Kent, England^G.¹
