     Margaret Lucia White was born on 12 November 1902.¹ She is the daughter of Major Hon. Charles James White and Evelyn Bulkeley-Johnson.¹ She married Sir Gervase Ralph Edmund Blois, 10th Bt., son of Sir Ralph Barrrett MacNaghten Blois, 9th Bt. and Winifred Grace Kennard, on 24 April 1948.¹
     From 24 April 1948, her married name became Blois.¹

     Lady Evelyn Pierrepont was baptised on 19 September 1691 at St. Anne’s, Soho, London, England^G.² She was the daughter of Evelyn Pierrepont, 1st Duke of Kingston-upon-Hull and Lady Mary Feilding.¹ She married John Leveson-Gower, 1st Earl Gower, son of John Leveson-Gower, 1st Baron Gower of Stittenham and Lady Catherine Manners, on 13 March 1711/12.³ She died on 26 June 1727 at age 35.³
     After her marriage, Lady Evelyn Pierrepont was styled as Baroness Gower of Stittenham on 13 March 1711/12. From 13 March 1711/12, her married name became Leveson-Gower.

     Sir Gervase Ralph Edmund Blois, 10th Bt. was born on 6 June 1901.² He was the son of Sir Ralph Barrrett MacNaghten Blois, 9th Bt. and Winifred Grace Kennard.² He married, firstly, Audrey Winifred Johnson, daughter of Colonel Harry Johnson, on 20 September 1938.² He and Audrey Winifred Johnson were divorced in 1948.² He married, secondly, Margaret Lucia White, daughter of Major Hon. Charles James White and Evelyn Bulkeley-Johnson, on 24 April 1948.¹ He died on 22 May 1968 at age 66.²
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.² He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of bengal between 1925 and 1928.² He gained the rank of Captain in 1939 in the Scots Guards.² He fought in the Second World War.² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1944.² He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.² He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.² He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Blois, of Grundisburgh and Cockfield Hall, co. Suffolk [E., 1686] on 18 March 1950.²

     Mary Maxwell was the daughter of William Maxwell of Preston and Elizabeth Hairstanes.¹ She married William Sutherland, 18th Earl of Sutherland, son of William Sutherland, 17th Earl of Sutherland and Lady Elizabeth Wemyss, on 14 April 1761.¹ She died on 1 June 1766.¹ She was buried on 9 August 1766 at Holyrood Abbey, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹
     Her married name became Sutherland.

     Lady Catherine Sutherland was born on 24 May 1764.¹ She was the daughter of William Sutherland, 18th Earl of Sutherland and Mary Maxwell.¹ She died on 3 January 1766 at age 1.¹

     Brig.-Gen. Hon. Robert White was born on 26 October 1861.¹ He was the son of Luke White, 2nd Baron Annaly of Annaly and Rathcline and Emily Stuart.¹ He died on 19 November 1936 at age 75, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the Nile Expedition between 1884 and 1885, where he won a medal with clasp, and bronze star.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Reserve of Officers, Royal Welsh Fusiliers.¹ He gained the rank of brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in the Reserve of Officers, Royal Welsh Fusiliers.¹ He fought in the Boer War in 1896.¹ He fought in the Boer War in 1900, where he won a medal with five clasps.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 10th (Service) Battalion, Royal Fusiliers.¹ In 1914 he raised and commanded the 10th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches six times, and wounded twice.¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the 184th Infantry Brigade, British Expeditionary Force.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1916.¹ He gained the rank of honorary Brigadier-General in 1918.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1919.¹

     John Sutherland, 7th Earl of Sutherland was born circa 1390.² He was the son of Robert Sutherland, 6th Earl of Sutherland and Margaret Stewart.¹ He married Margaret Baillie, daughter of Sir William Baillie of Lamington and Marian Seton, before 1432.² He died circa 1460.¹
     He was appointed Knight in 1408.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Sutherland [S., 1235] before 1427.¹

     John Sutherland, 8th Earl of Sutherland was the son of John Sutherland, 7th Earl of Sutherland and Margaret Baillie.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Calder, daughter of William Calder of Calder.¹ He married Catherine (?)¹ He married, firstly, Finvola Macdonald, daughter of Celestine Macdonald of Lochalsh and Finvola Maclean, in 1467.¹ He died circa 1508.¹
     He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Sutherland [S., 1235] on 22 February 1455/56, after his father resigned his earldom in his son’s favour.¹ In 1494 he was found incapable of managing his own affiars.¹

     John Sutherland, 9th Earl of Sutherland was the son of John Sutherland, 8th Earl of Sutherland and Finvola Macdonald.¹ He died in July 1514, unmarried.¹
     He was found incapable of managing his own affiars.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Earl of Sutherland [S., 1235] circa 1508.²
