     Edward Knight was born on 7 October 1768.2 He was the son of Reverend George Austen and Cassandra Leigh.3 He married Elizabeth Bridges, daughter of Sir Brook William Bridges, 3rd Bt. and Fanny Fowler, in 1791.4 He died on 19 November 1852 at age 84.2
     He was given the name of Edward Austen at birth.5 He held the office of Sheriff of Kent from 1801 to 1802.4 In 1812 his name was legally changed to Edward Knight.5 He lived at Godmersham Park, Kent, EnglandG.1

     Louisa Knight was born in 1804.1 She was the daughter of Edward Knight and Elizabeth Bridges.1 She married Major Lord George Augusta Hill, son of Arthur Hill, 2nd Marquess of Downshire and Mary Sandys, Lady Sandys, Baroness of Ombersley, on 11 May 1847.2 She died on 29 July 1889.2
     From 11 May 1847, her married name became Hill.2

Frederick William Pepys Cockerell, on 9 July 1955.1 She died on 8 June 1957 at age 31, without issue.1
