Paul Claudel was born on 6 August 1868 at Villeneuve-sur-Fère, Aisne, FranceG.1 He was the son of Louis Prosper Claudel and Louise Athanaïse Cécile Cerveaux.1 He married Marie Pauline Geneviève Reine on 14 March 1906 at Lyon, France.2 He died on 23 February 1955 at age 86 at Paris, France.1
