     Lt.-Col. Robert Sidney Stuart Meade was born on 16 February 1901.² He was the son of Francis Henry Meade and Beatrice Mary Gordon.^1,2 He married, firstly, Veronica Augusta Wilbraham, daughter of Lt.-Col. Herbert Vere Wilbraham, on 31 May 1930.² He married, secondly, Maria Elisabeth Johanna Rosalia Ottilia Baronin von Ranberg, daughter of August Hermann George Victor Baron von Ranberg, in 1970.² He died on 16 November 1971 at age 70 at Jerowford, Selkirkshire, Scotland.^2,3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1939 in the Royal Artillery (Territorial Army.)² He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.²

     Veronica Augusta Wilbraham was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Herbert Vere Wilbraham.² She married Lt.-Col. Robert Sidney Stuart Meade, son of Francis Henry Meade and Beatrice Mary Gordon, on 31 May 1930.¹ She died on 10 February 1968.¹
     Her married name became Meade.

     Lt.-Col. Herbert Vere Wilbraham died before 1963.

     Daphne Theresa Meade was born on 10 July 1936.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Sidney Stuart Meade and Veronica Augusta Wilbraham.²

     Jane Cecilia Meade was born on 27 January 1940.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Sidney Stuart Meade and Veronica Augusta Wilbraham.² She married Colonel David Henry George Corsellis, son of Henry Alexander Corsellis, on 15 July 1967.¹
     From 15 July 1967, her married name became Corsellis.

     Elizabeth Cecilia Meade was the daughter of Rev. Hon. Sidney Meade and Lucy Emma Jacob.² She married Captain John Somerled Thorpe on 9 August 1904.¹ She died on 13 November 1950.²
     Her married name became Thorpe.

     Christian Henry Allhusen was born in 1956.¹ He is the son of Richard Christian Allhusen and Evelyn Jane Chenevix Trench.¹ He married Penelope Amanda Rae, daughter of Colin George Champion Rae and Pamela A. Midwood, in 1986.¹
     He lived in 1999 at Manor House, Bradenham, Thetford, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Constance Selina Meade was the daughter of Rev. Hon. Sidney Meade and Lucy Emma Jacob.² She married Brig.-Gen. William Henry Sitwell, son of Major Francis Henry Massey Sitwell and Elizabeth Maria d‘Olier, on 19 August 1902.¹ She died on 21 July 1908.²
     Her married name became Sitwell.

     Brig.-Gen. William Henry Sitwell was born on 20 November 1860.² He was the son of Major Francis Henry Massey Sitwell and Elizabeth Maria d‘Olier.² He married Constance Selina Meade, daughter of Rev. Hon. Sidney Meade and Lucy Emma Jacob, on 19 August 1902.¹ He married Constance Evelyn Mary Chetwynd-Talbot, daughter of Gustavus Arthur Chetwynd-Talbot and Susan Frances Elwes, on 23 August 1912.³ He died on 7 September 1923 at age 62.³
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He lived at Barmoor Castle, Northumberland, England^G.³

     Granville Edward Harcourt Vernon was born on 23 November 1816.² He was the son of Granville Harcourt Vernon and Frances Julia Eyre.² He married Lady Selina Catherine Meade, daughter of Richard Charles Francis Christian Meade, 3rd Earl of Clanwilliam and Lady Elizabeth Herbert, on 23 November 1854.² He died on 1 February 1861 at age 44.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newark.¹
