Sir Robert Williams, 2nd Bt.1 
Sir Robert Williams, 2nd Bt. was born in 1629.2 He was the son of Sir Griffith Williams, 1st Bt. and Gwen Bodwrda.3 He married, firstly, Jane Glynne, daughter of Sir John Glynne and Frances Squibb, in 1652.4 He married, secondly, Frances Barkham, daughter of Sir Edward Barkham, 1st Bt., on 12 June 1671 at St. Andrews, Holborn, London, EnglandG.4 He died on 10 December 1680.4
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Caenarvonshire between 1656 and 1658.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Caenarvon in 1659.4 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Williams, of Penrhyn, co. Caernarvon [E., 1661] on 3 December 1663.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Caernarvonshire from 1669 to 1670.4
