     She was also known as Annabella Murray.3 After her marriage, Annabel Murray was styled as Countess of Mar. From before 29 January 1556/57, her married name became Erskine.3,4

     Lady Margaret Leslie was the daughter of George Leslie, 4th Earl of Rothes and Margaret Crichton.1 She married Archibald Douglas, 8th Earl of Angus, son of David Douglas, 7th Earl of Angus and Margaret Hamilton, on 25 December 1575.1 She and Archibald Douglas, 8th Earl of Angus were divorced on 12 July 1587.1,2
     After her marriage, Lady Margaret Leslie was styled as Countess of Angus on 25 December 1575. From 25 December 1575, her married name became Douglas.

     Her married name became Meldrum. From 11 April 1561, her married name became Lyon.

     Margaret Crichton was born illegitimately before 1493.2 She was the daughter of William Crichton, 3rd Lord Crichton and Margaret Stewart.3,4 She married, firstly, William Todrik before 1505.3,5 She married, secondly, George Halkerstoun before 4 July 1510.3,5 She married, thirdly, George Leslie, 4th Earl of Rothes, son of William Leslie, 3rd Earl of Rothes and Margaret Balfour, in 1517.4 She and George Leslie, 4th Earl of Rothes were divorced on 27 December 1520.5 She married, fourthly, George Leslie, 4th Earl of Rothes, son of William Leslie, 3rd Earl of Rothes and Margaret Balfour, in 1541.5,6 She died before 1546.3
     From before 1505, her married name became Todrik.3 From before 4 July 1510, her married name became Halkerstoun.3 From 1517, her married name became Leslie. After her marriage, Margaret Crichton was styled as Countess of Rothes in 1517.

     William Abernethy, 5th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy was the son of Alexander Abernethy, 4th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and unknown daughter Stewart.2,3 He married Lady Elizabeth Hay, daughter of William Hay, 4th Earl of Erroll and Christian Lyon, on 23 July 1512.4 He died in December 1543.4
     He succeeded as the 5th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy [S., 1445] before 25 July 1527.5,4

     Alexander Lindsay, 2nd Lord Spynie was born circa 1597. He was the son of Alexander Lindsay, 1st Lord Spynie and Jean Lyon.2 He married Lady Margaret Hay, daughter of George Hay, 1st Earl of Kinnoull and Margaret Halyburton.2 He died in 1646.3
     He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Spynie [S., 1590] in June 1607.2 He fought in the Thirty Years War, under King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden.2

     Sir William Douglas was born between 1470 and 1475.2 He was the son of Archibald Douglas, 5th Earl of Angus and Elizabeth Boyd.1 He married Elizabeth Auchinleck, daughter of James Auchinleck of Glenbervie and Giles Ross, in 1501.2 He died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, EnglandG, killed in action.2
     He was appointed Knight in 1511.2 He lived at Glenbervie, Kincardineshire, Scotland.3 He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.2
