Colin Mackenzie, 1st Earl of Seaforth1 
He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Mackenzie of Kintail [S., 1609] on 27 February 1610/11.1 He was created 1st Earl of Seaforth [Scotland] on 3 December 1623, with a special remainder to heirs male whatsoever.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in 1628.1
