Robert Cunninghame Graham, 6th of Gartmore1

     Robert Cunninghame Graham, 6th of Gartmore was born circa 1735.2 He was the son of Nicol Graham, 4th of Gallingad and 5th of Gartmore and Margaret Cuninghame.1 He married, firstly, Anne Taylor, daughter of Patrick Taylor, in 1764 at Jamaica.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Hamilton Buchanan, daughter of Thomas Buchanan, 10th of Spittal and Elizabeth Hamilton of Bardowie, after 17 October 1786 at Scotland.2 He died on 4 December 1797.2
     He was given the name of Robert Graham at birth.3 He inherited the estate of Finlaystone from John Cunninhgam, 15th Earl of Glencairn.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court in 1776.3 In 1796 his name was legally changed to Robert Cunninghame Graham.3
