Lady Caroline Jane Thynne1 
Lady Caroline Jane Thynne was born on 28 August 1928.1 She was the daughter of Henry Frederick Thynne, 6th Marquess of Bath and Hon. Daphne Winifred Louise Vivian.1 She married David Robert Somerset, 11th Duke of Beaufort, son of Captain Henry Robert Somers FitzRoy de Vere Somerset and Bettine Violet Malcolm, on 5 July 1950.1 She died on 22 April 1995 at age 66, from cancer of the pancreas.1
She was educated at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London, EnglandG.1 Her married name became Somerset. She was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) by Bristol University, Bristol, EnglandG.1 After her marriage, Lady Caroline Jane Thynne was styled as Duchess of Beaufort on 5 February 1984.

Henry Frederick Thynne, 6th Marquess of Bath was born on 26 January 1905.1 He was the son of Thomas Henry Thynne, 5th Marquess of Bath and Violet Caroline Mordaunt.1 He married, firstly, Hon. Daphne Winifred Louise Vivian, daughter of George Crespigny Brabazon Vivian, 4th Baron Vivian of Glynn and of Truro and Barbara Cicely Fanning, on 27 October 1927.1 He and Hon. Daphne Winifred Louise Vivian were divorced in 1953.1 He married, secondly, Virginia Penelope Parsons, daughter of Alan Leonard Romaine Parsons and Viola Tree, on 15 July 1953.1 He died on 30 June 1992 at age 87.1
He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.3 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) Alexander George Thynn, 7th Marquess of Bath was born on 6 May 1932.1 He was the son of Henry Frederick Thynne, 6th Marquess of Bath and Hon. Daphne Winifred Louise Vivian.1 He married Anne Abigail Gyarmathy, daughter of Laszlo Izsak Gyarmathy, on 9 May 1969.1 He died on 4 April 2020 at age 87, from Covid-19.3
