Simon Fraser, 13th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat1 
He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 2nd Battalion, Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders Militia.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Inverness-shire between 1873 and 1887.1 He succeeded as the 13th Lord Lovat [S., c. 1464] on 28 June 1875.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Lovat of Lovat, co. Inverness [U.K., 1837] on 28 June 1875.2 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Victoria between 1883 and 1887.1
