John Scott, 4th Earl of Eldon was born on 29 March 1899.3 He was the son of John Scott, Viscount Encombe and Hon. Mary Laura Fraser.1 He married Hon. Magdalen Mary Charlotte Fraser, daughter of Simon Joseph Fraser, 14th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat and Hon. Laura Lister, on 10 April 1934.3 He died on 20 October 1976 at age 77.3
He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, EnglandG.3 He fought in the First World War.3 He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.3 He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the No. 930 (Hampshire) Squadron, Auxiliary Air Force.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Scots Greys (Special Reserve.)3 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Eldon, of Eldon, co.
