     Lady Louisa Katherine Scott was born on 22 May 1871.¹ She was the daughter of John Scott, 3rd Earl of Eldon and Henrietta Minna Turnor.¹ She married John Augustine Longley, son of Sir Henry Longley and Diana Eliza Davenport, on 26 May 1898.¹ She died on 5 August 1940 at age 69.¹
     Her married name became Longley.

     John Augustine Longley is the son of Sir Henry Longley and Diana Eliza Davenport.^1,2 He married Lady Louisa Katherine Scott, daughter of John Scott, 3rd Earl of Eldon and Henrietta Minna Turnor, on 26 May 1898.¹
     He was Assistant Private Secretary to the Lord Privy Seal.²

     John Scott, 4th Earl of Eldon was born on 29 March 1899.³ He was the son of John Scott, Viscount Encombe and Hon. Mary Laura Fraser.¹ He married Hon. Magdalen Mary Charlotte Fraser, daughter of Simon Joseph Fraser, 14th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat and Hon. Laura Lister, on 10 April 1934.³ He died on 20 October 1976 at age 77.³
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England^G.³ He fought in the First World War.³ He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.³ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the No. 930 (Hampshire) Squadron, Auxiliary Air Force.³ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Scots Greys (Special Reserve.)³ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Eldon, of Eldon, co. Durham [G.B., 1799] on 10 August 1926.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Encombe, of Encombe, co. Dorset [U.K., 1821] on 10 August 1926.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Eldon, co. Durham [U.K., 1821] on 10 August 1926.¹ He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting to HM King George VI between 1937 and 1952.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire in 1938.³ He fought in the Second World War.³ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1952.³ He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting to HM Queen Elizabeth II between 1952 and 1968.³ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Devon between 1957 and 1966.³ He was awarded the Grand Officier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur in 1960.³ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.) in 1963.³

     Hon. Magdalen Mary Charlotte Fraser was born on 1 August 1913.² She was the daughter of Simon Joseph Fraser, 14th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat and Hon. Laura Lister.^1,2 She married John Scott, 4th Earl of Eldon, son of John Scott, Viscount Encombe and Hon. Mary Laura Fraser, on 10 April 1934.¹ She died on 27 September 1969 at age 56.¹
     From 10 April 1934, her married name became Scott. After her marriage, Hon. Magdalen Mary Charlotte Fraser was styled as Countess of Eldon on 10 April 1934. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1953.¹ She was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)¹

     Simon Joseph Fraser, 14th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat was born on 25 November 1871.¹ He was the son of Simon Fraser, 13th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat and Alice Mary Weld-Blundell.¹ He married Hon. Laura Lister, daughter of Thomas Lister, 4th Baron Ribblesdale and Charlotte Monkton Tennant, on 15 October 1910 at Brompton Oratory, Brompton, London, England^G.² He died on 18 February 1933 at age 61.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Lovat of Lovat, co. Inverness [U.K., 1837] on 6 September 1887.³ He gained the title of 14th Lord Lovat [S., c. 1464] on 6 September 1887.³ He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 1st Life Guards.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.¹ He fought in the Boer War, with Lovat Scouts, which he raised and commanded.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1902.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1903.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1908.¹ He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Inverness-shire.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Thistle (K.T.) in 1915.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1919.¹ He was chairman of the Forestry Commission between 1919 and 1927.¹ He was Parliamentary Under-Secretary of Dominion Affairs between 1926 and 1928.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.) in 1932.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.⁴
     

     Hon. Laura Lister was born on 12 January 1892.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Lister, 4th Baron Ribblesdale and Charlotte Monkton Tennant.¹ She married Simon Joseph Fraser, 14th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat, son of Simon Fraser, 13th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat and Alice Mary Weld-Blundell, on 15 October 1910 at Brompton Oratory, Brompton, London, England^G.¹ She died on 24 March 1965 at age 73.¹
     Her married name became Fraser.

     Thomas Lister, 4th Baron Ribblesdale was born on 29 October 1854.¹ He was the son of Thomas Lister, 3rd Baron Ribblesdale and Emma Mure.¹ He married, firstly, Charlotte Monkton Tennant, daughter of Sir Charles Clow Tennant of The Glen, 1st Bt. and Emma Winsloe, on 7 April 1877.¹ He married, secondly, Ava Loel Willing, daughter of Edward Shippen Willing and Alice Barton, in 1919.² He died on 21 October 1925 at age 70, without surviving male issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Ribblesdale, of Gisburne Park, co. York [G.B., 1797] on 25 August 1876.¹ He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting to HM Queen Victoria between 1880 and 1885.¹ He was Master of the Royal Buckhounds between 1892 and 1895.¹
     The Barony of Ribblesdale became extinct on his death.¹

     Michael Simon Scott was born on 1 April 1900.¹ He was the son of John Scott, Viscount Encombe and Hon. Mary Laura Fraser.¹ He married Ruth Brady, daughter of James Cox Brady, on 31 December 1928.¹ He died on 4 February 1938 at age 37.¹

     Rupert Hay Murray was born on 28 May 1969.² He is the son of Peter Gerald Stewart Murray and Jane Wood.¹ He married Chantal Dusting, daughter of Rob Dusting, in 1995.²

     William Alexander Murray was born on 21 April 1972.² He is the son of Peter Gerald Stewart Murray and Jane Wood.¹ He married Abigail Chisman, daughter of Neil Chisman, in 2005.²
