William Blayney, 6th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan1 
In 1689 he was attainted as a resident of England, but was later restored.1 He succeeded as the 6th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan, co. Monaghan [I., 1621] in August 1689.1 He held the office of Governor of County Monaghan.1

From December 1684, her married name became Dillon. From 1686, her married name became Blayney.1 After her marriage, Hon. Mary Caulfeild was styled as Baroness of Blayney in August 1689.

He succeeded as the 7th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan, co. Monaghan [I., 1621] on 3 January 1705/6.1 He held the office of Governor of Sligo.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of County Monaghan.1

After her marriage, Mary Cairnes was styled as Baroness Blayney in September 1724. From September 1724, her married name became Blayney.2 From 1734, her married name became Murray.3

Sir Alexander Cairnes, 1st Bt.1 
He was a banker in Dublin and London, He was was apostrophised by Swift.2 He was created 1st Baronet Cairnes, of Monaghan, in Ireland [Great Britain] on 6 May 1708, with a special remainder to his younger brother.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Monaghan [Ireland] between 1709 and 1727.2 He held the office of Keeper of Phoenix Park in 1712.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the Borough of Monaghan [Ireland] between 1727 and 1732.2 He lived at Monaghan, County Monaghan, IrelandG.1
Dean Swift called him a ‘scrupulous puppy and a shuffling scoundrel’, while Thomas Sheridan calls him ‘an eminent Banker.3‘
