     William Blayney, 6th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan was the son of Richard Blayney, 4th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan and Elizabeth Vincent.1 He married Hon. Mary Caulfeild, daughter of William Caulfeild, 1st Viscount Charlemont and Hon. Sarah Moore, in 1686.1 He died on 3 January 1705/6 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He was buried on 5 January 1705/6 at Chapel of Castle Blayney, County Monaghan, IrelandG.1
     In 1689 he was attainted as a resident of England, but was later restored.1 He succeeded as the 6th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan, co. Monaghan [I., 1621] in August 1689.1 He held the office of Governor of County Monaghan.1

     Hon. Mary Caulfeild was born circa 1659.2 She was the daughter of William Caulfeild, 1st Viscount Charlemont and Hon. Sarah Moore.1 She married, firstly, Arthur Dillon.2 She married, secondly, William Blayney, 6th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan, son of Richard Blayney, 4th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan and Elizabeth Vincent, in 1686.1 She died on 8 August 1724 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 She died on 8 August 1724.2 She was buried at Castle Blayney, County Monaghan, IrelandG.1
     From December 1684, her married name became Dillon. From 1686, her married name became Blayney.1 After her marriage, Hon. Mary Caulfeild was styled as Baroness of Blayney in August 1689.

Hon. Sarah Moore1

     Hon. Sarah Moore was the daughter of Charles Moore, 2nd Viscount Moore of Drogheda.1 She married William Caulfeild, 1st Viscount Charlemont, son of William Caulfeild, 2nd Lord Caulfeild, Baron of Charlemont and Mary King, in 1653.2 She died circa November 1712.3 She was buried on 3 December 1712.3
     From 1653, her married name became Caulfeild. After her marriage, Hon. Sarah Moore was styled as Viscountess Charlemont on 8 October 1665.

     Cadwallader Blayney, 7th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan was baptised on 21 April 1693 at St. Peter’s Church, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He was the son of William Blayney, 6th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan and Hon. Mary Caulfeild.1 He married, firstly, Mary Touchet, daughter of Hon. John Touchet and Lady Elizabeth Savile, on 22 April 1714 at Dublin Castle, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He married, secondly, Mary Cairnes, daughter of Sir Alexander Cairnes, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Gould, in September 1724.1 He died on 19 March 1732/33 at age 39 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He was buried at Castle Blayney, County Monaghan, IrelandG.2
     He succeeded as the 7th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan, co. Monaghan [I., 1621] on 3 January 1705/6.1 He held the office of Governor of Sligo.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of County Monaghan.1

Mary Caulfeild, on 22 April 1714 at Dublin Castle, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 She died in September 1721.1 She was buried at Castle Blayney, County Monaghan, IrelandG.1
     After her marriage, Mary Touchet was styled as Baroness Blayney on 22 April 1714. From 22 April 1714, her married name became Blayney.1

Mary Cairnes1

     Mary Cairnes was the daughter of Sir Alexander Cairnes, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Gould.2 She married, firstly, Cadwallader Blayney, 7th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan, son of William Blayney, 6th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan and Hon. Mary Caulfeild, in September 1724.2 She married, secondly, Colonel John Murray, son of Hugh Murray and unknown daughter Kearns, in 1734.3 She died on 28 August 1790.2
     After her marriage, Mary Cairnes was styled as Baroness Blayney in September 1724. From September 1724, her married name became Blayney.2 From 1734, her married name became Murray.3
     Mrs. Delaney wrote that “she is very agreeable, not quite unaffected, but sensible, and has seen a good deal of the world.”3

Sir Alexander Cairnes, 1st Bt.1

     Sir Alexander Cairnes, 1st Bt. was the son of John Cairnes and Jane Miller.2 He married Elizabeth Gould, daughter of John Gould and Mary (?), on 17 February 1697/98 at St. Peter le Poor, London, EnglandG.3 He died on 30 October 1732 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, without survivng male issue.3 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 14 June 1739.3
     He was a banker in Dublin and London, He was was apostrophised by Swift.2 He was created 1st Baronet Cairnes, of Monaghan, in Ireland [Great Britain] on 6 May 1708, with a special remainder to his younger brother.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Monaghan [Ireland] between 1709 and 1727.2 He held the office of Keeper of Phoenix Park in 1712.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the Borough of Monaghan [Ireland] between 1727 and 1732.2 He lived at Monaghan, County Monaghan, IrelandG.1
     Dean Swift called him a ‘scrupulous puppy and a shuffling scoundrel’, while Thomas Sheridan calls him ‘an eminent Banker.3‘
