Aeneas Lionel Acton MacKintosh1 
He was with the P&O Line between 1895 and 1907.2 Between 1907 and 1909 he accompanied Sir Ernest Shackleton on his Antarctic Expeditions where he lost an eye.1 In 1914 he accompanied Sir Ernest Shackleton on his Antarctic Expeditions where he led a sledging party command to lay depots for Shackleton and his party, but during it he lost his life.1
