     George Augustus Frederick John Murray, 6th Duke of Atholl was born on 20 September 1814 at Great Cumberland Place, Marylebone, London, England^G.² He was the son of Lt.-Gen. James Murray, 1st Baron Glenlyon and Lady Emily Frances Percy.¹ He married Anne Home-Drummond, daughter of Henry Home-Drummond, 7th of Blair Drummond and Christian Moray, 18th of Abercairney, on 29 October 1839 at Blair Drummond, Perthshire, Scotland^G.² He died on 16 January 1864 at age 49 at Blair Castle^G, from cancer in the neck.² He was buried on 25 January 1864 at Church of Blair^G.²

     John James Hugh Henry Stewart-Murray, 7th Duke of Atholl was born on 6 August 1840.¹ He was the son of George Augustus Frederick John Murray, 6th Duke of Atholl and Anne Home-Drummond.¹ He was baptised on 12 November 1840 at Blair Castle, Blair Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹ He married Louisa Moncreiffe, daughter of Sir Thomas Moncreiffe of that Ilk, 7th Bt. and Lady Louisa Hay-Drummond, on 29 October 1863 at Moncreiffe House^G.² He died on 20 January 1917 at age 76 at Blair Castle, Blair Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland^G.³ He was buried on 23 January 1917.³

     Elizabeth Anne Campbell was born in 1804.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Archibald Campbell of Succoth, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Balfour.² She married Vice-Admiral David Leslie-Melville, 10th Earl of Leven, son of Alexander Leslie-Melville, 9th Earl of Leven and Jane Thornton, on 21 June 1824.¹ She died on 6 November 1863.¹
     After her marriage, Elizabeth Anne Campbell was styled as Countess of Leven and Melville on 21 June 1824. From 21 June 1824, her married name became Leslie-Melville.

     Brigadier Algernon George William Heber-Percy was born on 27 April 1904.² He was the son of Algernon Hugh Heber-Percy and Gladys May Hulton-Harrop.² He married Daphne Wilma Kenyon Bowles, daughter of Eustace Parker Bowles and Wilma Mary Garnault Bowles, on 27 April 1939.¹ He and Daphne Wilma Kenyon Bowles were divorced in 1950.¹ He died on 27 February 1961 at age 56.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.² He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor-General of South Africa between 1929 and 1932.² He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor-General of New Zealand between 1935 and 1937.² He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He gained the rank of Brigadier between 1942 and 1943 in the Grenadier Guards.² He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1943 and bar (1945.)² He was awarded the Order of King George I of Greece with crossed swords.²

     Daphne Wilma Kenyon Bowles was born on 4 December 1917.¹ She was the daughter of Eustace Parker Bowles and Wilma Mary Garnault Bowles.¹ She married, firstly, Brigadier Algernon George William Heber-Percy, son of Algernon Hugh Heber-Percy and Gladys May Hulton-Harrop, on 27 April 1939.¹ She and Brigadier Algernon George William Heber-Percy were divorced in 1950.¹ She married, secondly, Oliver Brian Sanderson Poole, 1st Baron Poole, son of Donald Louis Poole and Therese Lillian Frodsham, on 9 May 1952.¹ She and Oliver Brian Sanderson Poole, 1st Baron Poole were divorced in 1965.¹ She died on 12 September 1995 at age 77.¹
     From 27 April 1939, her married name became Heber-Percy. From 9 May 1952, her married name became Poole. After her marriage, Daphne Wilma Kenyon Bowles was styled as Baroness Poole on 11 July 1958.

     Lt.-Col. Cyril Hugh Reginald Heber-Percy was born on 18 December 1905.¹ He was the son of Algernon Hugh Heber-Percy and Gladys May Hulton-Harrop.¹ He married, firstly, Anne Garland, daughter of Charles Tuller Garland, on 18 October 1933.¹ He and Anne Garland were divorced in 1944.¹ He married, secondly, Diana Radclyffe, daughter of Raymond Augustus Edward Radclyffe and Grace Macarthy Forsyth, on 17 January 1944.¹ He and Diana Radclyffe were divorced in 1959.¹ He married, thirdly, Pamela Armstrong-Lushington-Tulloch, daughter of Kinmont Willie Armstrong-Lushington-Tulloch, on 11 November 1959.¹ He died on 1 August 1989 at age 83.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Welsh Guards.¹

     Anne Garland was born in 1914.² She is the daughter of Charles Tuller Garland.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Cyril Hugh Reginald Heber-Percy, son of Algernon Hugh Heber-Percy and Gladys May Hulton-Harrop, on 18 October 1933.¹ She and Lt.-Col. Cyril Hugh Reginald Heber-Percy were divorced in 1944.¹
     Her married name became Heber-Percy.

     Lt.-Col. William Grierson was born on 7 August 1778 at Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G.^2,3 He was the son of Sir Robert Grierson of Lag, 5th Bt. and Margaret Dalzell.² He married Jane Beattie, daughter of Thomas Beattie.² He died on 30 November 1865 at age 87.² He was buried at St. Mary’s Church, Dumfries, Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G.³

     Christine Mary Gates was the daughter of Terence Horatio Gates.¹ She married William David Heber-Percy, son of Lt.-Col. Cyril Hugh Reginald Heber-Percy and Anne Garland, on 18 January 1969.² She died on 13 April 2004.³
