Sibell Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, on 14 November 1933 at St. Margaret’s Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.5,3 She and Major Walter Francis David Long, 2nd Viscount Long were divorced in 1942.5 She married, secondly, William Humble Eric Ward, 3rd Earl of Dudley, son of William Humble Ward, 2nd Earl of Dudley and Rachel Gurney, on 25 February 1943.5 She and William Humble Eric Ward, 3rd Earl of Dudley were divorced in 1954.5 She married, thirdly, Michael Temple Canfield, son of George Edward Alexander Edmund Windsor, 1st Duke of Kent and Violet Isobel Christine Evans, on 13 June 1960.4 She married, fourthly, Lt.-Col. John Albert Edward William Spencer-Churchill, 10th Duke of Marlborough, son of Charles Richard John Spencer-Churchill, 9th Duke of Marlborough and Consuelo Vanderbilt, on 26 January 1972.1 She died on 19 February 1990 at age 74 at Portman Towers, Marylebone, London, EnglandG.1,3
Frances Laura Charteris usually went by her middle name of Laura.4 After her marriage, Frances Laura Charteris was styled as Viscountess Long on 14 November 1933. From 14 November 1933, her married name became Long. From 25 February 1943, her married name became Ward. After her marriage, Frances Laura Charteris was styled as Countess of Dudley on 25 February 1943. From 13 June 1960, her married name became Canfield. From 26 January 1972, her married name became Spencer-Churchill.1 After her marriage, Frances Laura Charteris was styled as Duchess of Marlborough on 26 January 1972.
