     John Cecil, 5th Earl of Exeter was the son of John Cecil, 4th Earl of Exeter and Lady Frances Manners.¹ He and Lady Anne Cavendish obtained a marriage license on 4 May 1670.¹ He died on 29 August 1700.¹
     He succeeded as the 6th Baron of Burghley, co. Northampton [E., 1571] on 18 March 1677/78.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Exeter [E., 1605] on 18 March 1677/78.¹

     Sir Hugh Smithson, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Jerome Smithson, 2nd Bt.² He married Hon. Jane Langdale, daughter of Marmaduke Langdale, 2nd Baron Langdale of Holme and Elizabeth Savage.² He died on 2 March 1733.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Smithson, of Stanwick, co. Yorks [E., 1660].

     Sir Algernon Eustace Hugh Heber-Percy was born on 2 January 1944.² He is the son of Brigadier Algernon George William Heber-Percy and Daphne Wilma Kenyon Bowles.² He married Hon. Margaret Jane Lever, daughter of Philip William Bryce Lever, 3rd Viscount Leverhulme and Margaret Ann Moon, on 6 July 1966.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant between 1962 and 1966 in the Grenadier Guards.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Shropshire between 1986 and 1990.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1987.² He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire between 1990 and 1996.² He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire in 1996.² He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire.³ He lived in 2003 at Hodnet Hall, Market Drayton, Shropshire, England^G.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 2014.³

     Hon. Margaret Jane Lever was born on 22 June 1947.¹ She is the daughter of Philip William Bryce Lever, 3rd Viscount Leverhulme and Margaret Ann Moon.¹ She married Sir Algernon Eustace Hugh Heber-Percy, son of Brigadier Algernon George William Heber-Percy and Daphne Wilma Kenyon Bowles, on 6 July 1966.¹
     Hon. Margaret Jane Lever usually went by her middle name of Jane.¹ Her married name became Heber-Percy. She lived in 1999 at Hodnet Hall, Market Drayton, Shropshire, England^G.¹

     Philip William Bryce Lever, 3rd Viscount Leverhulme was born on 1 July 1915.¹ He was the son of William Hulme Lever, 2nd Viscount Leverhulme and Marion Beatrice Smith.^1,2 He married Margaret Ann Moon, daughter of John Moon, on 1 July 1937.¹ He died on 4 July 2000 at age 85.
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire between 1949 and 1990.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Leverhulme, of the Western Isles, cos Inverness and Ross and Cromarty [U.K., 1922] on 27 May 1949.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Leverhulme, of Bolton-le-Moors, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1917] on 27 May 1949.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Lever [U.K., 1911] on 27 May 1949.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Air Commodore in the No. 610 (County of Chester) Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the Cheshire Yeomanry (Territorial Army.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cheshire.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Liverpool University, Liverpool, Lancashire, England^G, in 1967.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Air Commodore in 1972 in the 663 Air Observation Post Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force. He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.)¹ He held the office of Chancellor of Liverpool University between 1980 and 1993.¹ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1988.¹ On his death, his titles became extinct.

     Emily Jane Heber-Percy was born on 19 February 1969.² She is the daughter of Sir Algernon Eustace Hugh Heber-Percy and Hon. Margaret Jane Lever.² She married Richard Hugh Cave, son of Sir Charles Edward Coleridge Cave, 4th Bt. and Mary Elizabeth Gore, on 27 April 1996.¹
     From 27 April 1996, her married name became Cave.

     Zara Mary Heber-Percy was born on 14 March 1940.¹ She was the daughter of Brigadier Algernon George William Heber-Percy and Daphne Wilma Kenyon Bowles.¹ She married, firstly, Gavin Nicholas Tait, son of Gordon Tait and Patricia R. Ellis, on 29 June 1961.¹ She and Gavin Nicholas Tait were divorced in 1980.² She married, secondly, Humphrey Roger Swire, son of Colonel Cyril George William Swire, in 1980.² She died on 28 December 2010 at age 70.²
     Her married name became Tait. From 1980, her married name became Swire.²

     Jane Maude Heber-Percy was born on 11 October 1942.¹ She is the daughter of Brigadier Algernon George William Heber-Percy and Daphne Wilma Kenyon Bowles.¹ She married Major Harold Anthony McArthur Pyman, son of General Sir Harold English Pyman and Elizabeth McArthur, on 16 October 1965.¹
     Her married name became Pyman. She lived in 2003 at Windwhistle, Sampford Arundel, Somerset, England.¹

     Juliet Dawn Gamester was born on 17 January 1969.¹ She is the daughter of Vernon Hugh Gamester and Lady Jane Margaret Annesley.¹

     Ann Jennifer Evelyn Elizabeth Fry was born on 29 March 1916.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Geoffrey Storrs Fry, 1st and last Bt. and Hon. Alethea Margaret Gwendolin Valentine Gardner.² She married, firstly, Robert Vernon Heber-Percy, son of Algernon Hugh Heber-Percy and Gladys May Hulton-Harrop, on 11 July 1942.³ She and Robert Vernon Heber-Percy were divorced in 1947.³ She married, secondly, Alan Ross in 1949.³ She and Alan Ross were divorced in 1985.⁴ She died on 10 December 2003 at age 87 at London, England.⁴
     Ann Jennifer Evelyn Elizabeth Fry usually went by her middle name of Jennifer.³ Her married name became Heber-Percy. From 1949, her married name became Ross.³ She lived in 2003 at 74 Bishops Mansions, Bishops Park Road, London, England^G.³
