Hugh Lupus Grosvenor, 1st Duke of Westminster was born on 13 October 1825.3 He was the son of Richard Grosvenor, 2nd Marquess of Westminster and Lady Elizabeth Mary Leveson-Gower.3 He married, firstly, Lady Constance Gertrude Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, daughter of George Granville Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 2nd Duke of Sutherland and Lady Harriet Elizabeth Georgiana Howard, on 28 April 1852.3 He married, secondly, Hon. Katherine Caroline Cavendish, daughter of William George Cavendish, 2nd Baron Chesham and Henrietta Frances Lascelles, on 19 July 1882.4 He died on 22 December 1899 at age 74.3
He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.3 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Grosvenor, of Eaton, co.
