     He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.⁴ He lived at Norman Court, Hampshire, England^G.⁵

     Mabel Iris FitzGeorge usually went by her middle name of Iris.⁵ From 12 December 1912, her married name became Balfour. From 12 August 1945, her married name became Galitzine.

He married, firstly, Ekaterina Gräfin von Carlow, daughter of Georg Alexander Herzog von Mecklenburg-Strelitz and Nataliya Feodorovna Vanljarskya, on 10 February 1913 at St. Petersburg, Russia^G. He married, secondly, Mabel Iris FitzGeorge, daughter of Colonel George William Adolphus FitzGeorge and Rosa Frederica Baring, on 12 August 1945 at London, England^G.² He died on 13 July 1954 at age 70 at London, England^G.²

     Commander George William Frederick FitzGeorge was born on 12 October 1892 at London, England^G.^2,3 He was the son of Colonel George William Adolphus FitzGeorge and Rosa Frederica Baring.¹ He married, firstly, Esther Vignon in 1918 at Saltburn, England^G.⁴ He and Esther Vignon were divorced in 1927.⁴ He married, secondly, Frances Bellenger, daughter of Robert Bellenger, in 1934 in a Geneva marriage.^2,3 He and Frances Bellenger were divorced in 1955.
