     James Sinclair was born in 1834 at Sarclet, Wick, Caithness, Scotland.¹ He was the son of Francis Sinclair and Janet Wemyss Oag.¹ He married Isabella Taylor on 25 October 1860 at Wick, Caithness, Scotland.¹ He died on 3 December 1904 at 34 Coach Road, Wick, Caithness, Scotland.¹
