     Mary Elizabeth Gill was born circa 1843.² She was the daughter of Joseph Gill.¹ She married Sir Edward Archibald Hamilton, 4th Bt., son of John James Edward Hamilton and Favoretta Corbett, on 28 May 1867.¹ She died on 9 May 1912 at Iping House, Midhurst, Sussex, England^G.^2,1
     Her married name became Hamilton. She was appointed Lady, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (L.St.J.)¹

     Joseph Gill lived at Burley, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Trewern, Shropshire, England^G.¹

     Sir Thomas Sydney Perceval Hamilton, 6th Bt. was born on 1 April 1881.¹ He was the son of Sir Edward Archibald Hamilton, 4th Bt. and Mary Elizabeth Gill.¹ He married Bertha Muriel King, daughter of James Russell King, on 29 April 1920.^2,1 He died on 26 February 1966 at age 84.²
     Sir Thomas Sydney Perceval Hamilton, 6th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Sydney.¹ He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, with the London Regiment.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Hamilton, of Marlborough House, co. Hants [U.K., 1819] on 18 March 1939.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Hamilton, of Trebinshun House, co. Brecon [G.B., 1776] on 18 March 1939.¹

     John James Edward Hamilton was born on 11 July 1808.² He was the son of Admiral Sir Edward Joseph Hamilton, 1st Bt. and Frances Macnamara.² He married Favoretta Corbett, daughter of Panton Corbett, on 7 April 1842.² He died on 2 November 1847 at age 39.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 83rd Regiment.²

     Favoretta Corbett was the daughter of Panton Corbett.¹ She married John James Edward Hamilton, son of Admiral Sir Edward Joseph Hamilton, 1st Bt. and Frances Macnamara, on 7 April 1842.¹ She died on 3 January 1887.¹
     Her married name became Hamilton.

     Panton Corbett lived at Longnor Hall, Shropshire, England^G.¹

     Admiral Sir Edward Joseph Hamilton, 1st Bt. was born on 12 March 1772.¹ He was the son of Captain Sir John Hamilton, 1st Bt. and Cassandra Agnes Chamberlayne.¹ He married Frances Macnamara, daughter of John Macnamara, on 1 November 1804.¹ He died on 20 March 1851 at age 79.¹
     He was awarded a gold medal for cutting out H.M.S. Hermione from under the batteries of Porto Cavallo, South America.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Hamilton, of Marlborough House, co. Hants [U.K.] on 26 January 1819.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹ He gained the rank of Admiral in the Royal Navy.

     Frances Macnamara was the daughter of John Macnamara.¹ She married Admiral Sir Edward Joseph Hamilton, 1st Bt., son of Captain Sir John Hamilton, 1st Bt. and Cassandra Agnes Chamberlayne, on 1 November 1804.¹ She died on 27 March 1840.¹
     Her married name became Hamilton.

     John Macnamara lived at Langoed Castle, Breconshire, Wales^G.¹

     Captain Sir John Hamilton, 1st Bt. was baptised on 21 February 1725/26.¹ He was the son of John Hamilton and Mary Wright.¹ He married Cassandra Agnes Chamberlayne, daughter of Edmund Chamberlayne, on 3 October 1763.² He died on 24 January 1784 at age 57.¹
     He fought in the Siege of Quebec in 1775.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Hamilton, of Trebinshun House, co. Brecon [Great Britain] on 24 August 1776.¹ Captain.¹
