     Colonel George William Adolphus FitzGeorge was born on 27 August 1843 at London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Field Marshal George William Frederick Charles Hanover, 2nd Duke of Cambridge and Sarah Louisa Fairbrother.² He married Rosa Frederica Baring, daughter of William Henry Baring and Elizabeth Hammersley, on 25 November 1885 at Paris, France^G.^3,4 He died on 2 September 1907 at age 64 at Lucerne, Switzerland^G.¹ He was buried at Alice Brandt Memorial Cemetery, Kreutzbush bei Meggen, Switzerland^G.^5,6
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 20th Hussars.² He fought in the Egypt Campaign.² He became bankrupt, and is said to have received £150,000 from his father.²

     Rear-Admiral Sir Adolphus Augustus Frederick FitzGeorge was born on 30 January 1846 at London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Field Marshal George William Frederick Charles Hanover, 2nd Duke of Cambridge and Sarah Louisa Fairbrother.² He married, firstly, Sophia Jane Holden, daughter of Thomas Holden, on 21 September 1875 at Hull, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Beatrice Daisy Watson, daughter of John Watson, on 28 October 1920 at Pimlico, London, England^G.³ He died on 17 December 1922 at age 76 at 20 Ecclestone Square, London, England^G.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in March 1859 in the Royal Navy.⁴ He gained the rank of Captain in 1894.⁴ He retired from the military in January 1893.⁴ He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in 1896.⁴ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1904.⁴

     Colonel Sir Augustus Charles Frederick FitzGeorge was born on 12 June 1847 at London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Field Marshal George William Frederick Charles Hanover, 2nd Duke of Cambridge and Sarah Louisa Fairbrother.² He died on 30 October 1933 at age 86 at 31 Queen’s Gate, London, England^G, unmarried.³
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 11th Hussars.⁴ He was Extra Aide-de-Camp to the Prince of Wales between 1871 and 1876.³ He was Aide-de-Camp to the Prince of Wales between 1895 and 1896.³ He retired from the military in 1900.⁴ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1904.⁴

     Rosa Frederica Baring was born on 9 March 1854 at Norman Court, Hampshire, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of William Henry Baring and Elizabeth Hammersley.¹ She married, firstly, Captain Frank Wigsell Arkwright, son of Robert Wigram Arkwright and Sophia Julia Greig, on 29 August 1878 at Sanderstead Court, Surrey, England^G.¹ She and Captain Frank Wigsell Arkwright were divorced before 1885.¹ She married, secondly, Colonel George William Adolphus FitzGeorge, son of Field Marshal George William Frederick Charles Hanover, 2nd Duke of Cambridge and Sarah Louisa Fairbrother, on 25 November 1885 at Paris, France^G.^2,3 She died on 10 March 1927 at age 73 at London, England^G.^4,2
     From 29 August 1878, her married name became Arkwright. From 25 November 1885, her married name became FitzGeorge.

     Sophia Jane Holden was born on 2 April 1857.² She was the daughter of Thomas Holden.¹ She married Rear-Admiral Sir Adolphus Augustus Frederick FitzGeorge, son of Field Marshal George William Frederick Charles Hanover, 2nd Duke of Cambridge and Sarah Louisa Fairbrother, on 21 September 1875 at Hull, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ She died on 3 February 1920 at age 62 at London, England^G.¹
     From 21 September 1875, her married name became FitzGeorge.

     Thomas Holden lived at Winstead Hall, Hull, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Olga Mary Adelaide FitzGeorge was born on 11 June 1877.^2,3 She was the daughter of Rear-Admiral Sir Adolphus Augustus Frederick FitzGeorge and Sophia Jane Holden.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Charles Edward Archibald Watkin Hamilton, 5th Bt., son of Sir Edward Archibald Hamilton, 4th Bt. and Mary Elizabeth Gill, on 18 December 1897 at London, England^G.⁴ She and Sir Charles Edward Archibald Watkin Hamilton, 5th Bt. were divorced in 1902.⁴ She married, secondly, S/Ldr. Robert Charlton Lane, son of Charles Thomas Lane, on 5 January 1905 at London, England^G.⁵ She died on 15 October 1928 at age 51 at Rouen, Caux, France^G.⁴
     From 18 December 1897, her married name became Hamilton. From 5 January 1905, her married name became Lane.

     Friedrich Wilhelm Großherog von Mecklenburg-Strelitz was born on 17 October 1819 at Neustrelitz, Brandenburg, Germany^G.¹ He was the son of Georg Großherog von Mecklenburg-Strelitz and Marie Wilhelmine Frederike Prinzessin von Hessen-Kassel.¹ He married Auguste Karoline Hanover, Princess of Cambridge, daughter of Adolphus Frederick Hanover, 1st Duke of Cambridge and Auguste Wilhelmine Luise Prinzessin von Hessen-Kassel, on 28 June 1843 at Buckingham Palace, St. James’s, London, England^G.² He died on 30 May 1904 at age 84 at Neustrelitz, Brandenburg, Germany^G.¹
     He gained the title of Großherzog Friedrich Wilhelm von Mecklenburg-Strelitz on 6 September 1860.¹

     Adolf Friedrich V Großherog von Mecklenburg-Strelitz was born on 22 July 1848 at Neustrelitz, Brandenburg, Germany^G.¹ He was the son of Friedrich Wilhelm Großherog von Mecklenburg-Strelitz and Auguste Karoline Hanover, Princess of Cambridge. He married Elisabeth Marie Frederica Amelia Agnes Prinzessin von Anhalt, daughter of Leopold Friedrich I Franz Nikolaus Fürst von Anhalt and Antionette Charlotte Marie Jospehine Karoline Frida Prinzessin von Sachsen-Altenburg, on 17 April 1877 at Dessau, Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany^G.¹ He died on 11 June 1914 at age 65.¹
     He was given the name of Georg Adolf Friedrich August Victor Ernst Adalbert Gustavus Wilhelm Wellington von Mecklenburg-Strelitz at birth.² He succeeded as the Großherzog Friedrich V von Mecklenburg-Strelitz on 30 May 1904.¹

     Elisabeth Marie Frederica Amelia Agnes Prinzessin von Anhalt was born on 7 September 1857 at Wörlitz, Germany^G.² She was the daughter of Leopold Friedrich I Franz Nikolaus Fürst von Anhalt and Antionette Charlotte Marie Jospehine Karoline Frida Prinzessin von Sachsen-Altenburg.² She married Adolf Friedrich V Großherog von Mecklenburg-Strelitz, son of Friedrich Wilhelm Großherog von Mecklenburg-Strelitz and Auguste Karoline Hanover, Princess of Cambridge, on 17 April 1877 at Dessau, Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany^G.² She died on 20 July 1933 at age 75 at Neustrelitz, Brandenburg, Germany^G.²
