(Tory) for Eye between 1829 and 1831.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Hanoverian Order (K.C.H.) in 1830.4 He held the office of Equerry to King William IV between 1830 and 1835.2 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Hanoverian Order (G.C.H.) in 1831.4 He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Foot Guards.2 He held the office of Surveyor-General of the Duchy of Cornwall between 1833 and 1849.2 He was created 1st Baron De L’Isle and Dudley of Penshurst, co. Kent [U.K.] on 13 January 1835.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Shelley Sidney, of Penshurst Place, co. Kent [U.K., 1818] on 14 March 1849.2

General Charles Richard Fox was born illegitimately in 1796. He was the son of Henry Richard Vassall Fox, 3rd Baron Holland of Foxley and Elizabeth Vassall.4,2 He married, firstly, Lady Mary Fitz-Clarence, daughter of William IV Hanover, King of the United Kingdom and Dorothea Bland, on 19 June 1824.4 He married, secondly, Katherine Maberly, daughter of John Maberly and Ann Baillie, on 16 August 1865 at Westminster, London, England.5 He died on 13 April 1873.
He was Receiver-General of the Duchy of Lancaster.4 He was an archaeologist.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)4 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 57th Foot.4

She married Roberto I di Borbone, Duca di Parma, son of Carlo III di Borbone, Duca di Parma and Louise Marie Thérèse de Bourbon, on 15 October 1884 at Schloss Fischhorn, Zell am See, GermanyG.3 She died on 14 May 1959 at age 96 at Schloss Berg, Colmer-Berg, LuxemburgG.3
She gained the title of Infanta de Portugal.1
