     Reverend Theobald Michell lived at Horsham, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Sir John Shelley Sidney, 1st Bt. was born on 18 December 1771.¹ He was the son of Sir Bysshe Shelley, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Jane Perry.¹ He married Henrietta Hunloke, daughter of Sir Henry Hunloke, 4th Bt. and Margaret Coke, on 29 April 1799.¹ He died on 14 March 1849 at age 77.¹
     He was given the name of John Shelley at birth.¹ In 1793 his name was legally changed to John Shelley Sidney by Sign Manual.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Shelley Sidney, of Penshurst Place, co. Kent [U.K.] on 12 December 1818.¹

     Henrietta Hunloke was the daughter of Sir Henry Hunloke, 4th Bt. and Margaret Coke.¹ She married Sir John Shelley Sidney, 1st Bt., son of Sir Bysshe Shelley, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Jane Perry, on 29 April 1799.¹ She died on 5 February 1811.¹
     From 29 April 1799, her married name became Shelley Sidney.¹

     Captain Gerald John Ponsonby, 6th Baron de Mauley of Canford was born on 19 December 1921.¹ He was the son of Hubert William Ponsonby, 5th Baron de Mauley of Canford and Elgiva Margaret Dundas.¹ He married Helen Alice Douglas, daughter of Hon. Charles William Sholto Douglas and Alice Agnes Fox-Pitt, on 16 November 1954.¹ He died on 17 October 2002 at age 80, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Leicestershire Yeomanry.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1941 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1947 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1949 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He was created 6th Baron de Mauley of Canford, co. Dorset [U.K., 1838] on 13 September 1962.¹

     Colonel Hon. Thomas Maurice Ponsonby was born on 2 August 1930.¹ He was the son of Hubert William Ponsonby, 5th Baron de Mauley of Canford and Elgiva Margaret Dundas.¹ He married Maxine Henrietta Thellusson, daughter of William Dudley Keith Thellusson, on 12 July 1956.¹ He died on 14 April 2001 at age 70.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1950 in the 11th Hussars.¹ He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Oxfordshire in 1958.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Wessex Yeomanry.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Gloucestershire in 1972.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1978.¹

     Hon. June Mary Ponsonby was born on 9 March 1924.¹ She was the daughter of Hubert William Ponsonby, 5th Baron de Mauley of Canford and Elgiva Margaret Dundas.¹ She married Robert Walter Sigismund Grimston, 2nd Baron Grimston of Westbury, son of Robert Villiers Grimston, 1st Baron Grimston of Westbury and Sybil Rose Neumann, on 21 June 1949.¹ She died on 18 March 2010 at age 86.²
     From 21 June 1949, her married name became Grimston.¹ After her marriage, Hon. June Mary Ponsonby was styled as Baroness Grimston of Westbury on 8 December 1979. She lived in 2003 at The Old Rectory, Westwell, Burford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Hon. Elizabeth Winifred Ponsonby was born on 4 January 1928.¹ She is the daughter of Hubert William Ponsonby, 5th Baron de Mauley of Canford and Elgiva Margaret Dundas.¹ She married Christopher Boot Holman, son of Alexander McArthur Holman and Hon. Margery Amy Boot, on 19 January 1950.¹
     Hon. Elizabeth Winifred Ponsonby usually went by her middle name of Winifred.¹ From 19 January 1950, her married name became Holman.¹

     Hon. Frances Georgiana Freeman-Mitford was born on 20 November 1875.¹ She was the daughter of Algernon Bertram Freeman-Mitford, 1st Baron Redesdale and Lady Clementina Gertrude Helen Ogilvy.² She married Lt.-Col. Alexander Horace Cyril Kearsey, son of Francis Kearsey, on 30 April 1907.¹ She died on 7 October 1951 at age 75.¹
     Her married name became Kearsey.

     Lt.-Col. Alexander Horace Cyril Kearsey was the son of Francis Kearsey.¹ He married Hon. Frances Georgiana Freeman-Mitford, daughter of Algernon Bertram Freeman-Mitford, 1st Baron Redesdale and Lady Clementina Gertrude Helen Ogilvy, on 30 April 1907.¹ He died on 8 October 1967.¹
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 10th Hussars.¹
