Marie Charlotte Amelie de Belgique, Princesse de Belgique was born on 7 June 1840 at Château de Laeken, Brussels, BelgiumG.4 She was the daughter of Leopold I Georg Christian Friedrich, Roi des Belges and Louise Marie d‘Orléans, Princesse d’Orléans. She married Maximilian von Österreich, Emperor of Mexico, son of Franz Karl Joseph Erzherzog von Österreich and Sophie Prinzessin von Bayern, on 27 July 1857 at Brussels, BelgiumG.4 She died on 19 January 1927 at age 86 at Château de Bouchut, Belgium.4
She was a member of the House of Wettin. She gained the title of Princess Charlotte de Belgique.5 She was given the name of Marie Charlotte Amélie Auguste Victiore Clémentine Léopoldine at birth.4

Marie Thérèse Charlotte de Bourbon was born on 19 December 1778 at Versailles, Île-de-France, FranceG.1 She was the daughter of Louis XVI, Roi de France and Marie Antoinette Erzherzogin von Österreich.1 She married Louis Antoine de Bourbon, Duc d’Angoulême, son of Charles X, Roi de France and Maria Teresa di Savoia, on 10 June 1799 at Mittau, Kurland.1 She died on 19 October 1851 at age 72 at Frohsdorf, GermanyG, without issue.1 She was buried at Castagnavizza, Goritz, AustriaG.1
After her marriage, Marie Thérèse Charlotte de Bourbon was styled as Duchesse d’Angoulême.
