     Laura Maria Theresa Stopford was born before 1827. She was the daughter of Colonel Edward Stopford.¹ She married Lord Charles Beauclerk, son of William Beauclerk, 8th Duke of Saint Albans and Maria Janetta Nelthorpe, on 7 September 1842.¹ She died on 29 September 1858.¹
     Her married name became Beauclerk.

     Aubrey Topham Beauclerk was born on 29 October 1850 at Brussels, Belgium^G.¹ He was the son of Lord Charles Beauclerk and Laura Maria Theresa Stopford.² He married Gwendoline Loftus Hughes, daughter of Captain Sir Frederick Hughes, on 17 September 1913.¹ He died on 14 January 1933 at age 82.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Horse Artillery.¹

     Gwendoline Loftus Hughes was the daughter of Captain Sir Frederick Hughes.¹ She married Aubrey Topham Beauclerk, son of Lord Charles Beauclerk and Laura Maria Theresa Stopford, on 17 September 1913.¹ She died on 2 May 1958.¹
     Her married name became Beauclerk.

     Charles Frederic Aubrey de Vere Beauclerk, 13th Duke of Saint Albans was born on 16 August 1915.³ He was the son of Aubrey Topham Beauclerk and Gwendoline Loftus Hughes.⁴ He married, firstly, Nathalie Chatham Walker, daughter of Percival Field Walker, on 21 March 1938.⁵ He and Nathalie Chatham Walker were divorced in 1947.⁵ He married, secondly, Suzanne Marie Adele Fesq, daughter of Emile William Fesq, on 19 March 1947.⁵ He died on 8 October 1988 at age 73.⁶ He was buried at Kensal Green Cemetery, London, England.⁷
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.⁴ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1937 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)⁴ He fought in the Second World War.⁴ He gained the rank of officer between 1939 and 1941 in the Somerset Light Infantry.⁴ He gained the rank of officer in the Intelligence Corps and PsyWar.⁴ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.¹ He was Controller of Information Services, Allied Commission, Austria between 1946 and 1960.⁴ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1947 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)⁴ He was Chief Books Editor, COI between 1951 and 1958.⁴ He was Chief Films Produciton Officer between 1958 and 1960.⁵ He was Director of Films Division between 1960 and 1964.⁵ He succeeded as the 10th Baron Vere of Hanworth, co. Middlesex [G.B., 1750] on 2 March 1964.⁵ He succeeded as the 13th Earl of Burford, co. Oxford [E., 1676] on 2 March 1964.⁵ He succeeded as the 13th Duke of Saint Albans [E., 1684] on 2 March 1964.⁵ He succeeded as the 13th Baron Heddington, co. Oxford [E., 1676] on 2 March 1964.⁵ He was director of Herbert Greaves Ltd.⁵ He was director of Monotype Corporation in 1973.⁵

     Rosemary Frances Scoones is the daughter of Dr. Francis Harold Scoones and Rose Frances Callis.^1,2 She married, firstly, Murray de Vere Beauclerk, 14th Duke of Saint Albans, son of Charles Frederic Aubrey de Vere Beauclerk, 13th Duke of Saint Albans and Nathalie Chatham Walker, on 31 January 1963.³ She and Murray de Vere Beauclerk, 14th Duke of Saint Albans were divorced in 1974.³ She married, secondly, Paul Edward Pellew, 10th Viscount Exmouth, son of Pownoll Irving Edward Pellew, 9th Viscount Exmouth and Maria Luisa de Urquijo, Marquesa de Olias, on 15 December 1975.³ She and Paul Edward Pellew, 10th Viscount Exmouth were divorced in 2000.³ She married, thirdly, Major William Duke Coleridge, 5th Baron Coleridge of Ottery St. Mary, son of Captain Richard Duke Coleridge, 4th Baron Coleridge of Ottery St. Mary and Cecilia Rosamund Fisher, on 15 September 2020 at Exeter, Devon, England.²
     After her marriage, Rosemary Frances Scoones was styled as Countess of Burford on 31 January 1963. From 31 January 1963, her married name became Beauclerk. From 15 December 1975, her married name became Pellew. After her marriage, Rosemary Frances Scoones was styled as Viscountess of Exmouth on 15 December 1975. From 15 September 2020, her married name became Coleridge.² After her marriage, Rosemary Frances Scoones was styled as Baroness Coleridge of Ottery St. Mary on 15 September 2020.

     Hugh de Vere, 1st Lord de Vere was born from June 1257 to March 1258/59.¹ He was the son of Robert de Vere, 5th Earl of Oxford and Alice de Sandford.¹ He married Denise de Munchensy, daughter of Sir William de Munchensy, after 12 June 1294.¹ He died after 22 May 1319.¹
     He was appointed Knight before August 1293.¹ He fought in the Gascony Campaign between 1294 and 1297.¹ He was created 1st Lord de Vere [England by writ] on 6 February 1298/99.¹ He fought in the Siege of Carlaverock in 1300.¹ On his death his title expired.¹

     Harriet Mellon was born on 11 November 1777. She was the daughter of Matthew Mellon.¹ She married, firstly, Thomas Coutts.¹ She married, secondly, William Aubrey de Vere Beauclerk, 9th Duke of Saint Albans, son of William Beauclerk, 8th Duke of Saint Albans and Maria Janetta Nelthorpe, on 16 June 1827 at London, England^G.¹ She died on 6 August 1837 at age 59, without issue.¹
     Her married name became Coutts.¹ After her marriage, Harriet Mellon was styled as Duchess of Saint Albans on 16 June 1827. From 16 June 1827, her married name became Beauclerk.

     Elizabeth Catherine Gubbins was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Joseph Gubbins.¹ She married, firstly, William Aubrey de Vere Beauclerk, 9th Duke of Saint Albans, son of William Beauclerk, 8th Duke of Saint Albans and Maria Janetta Nelthorpe, on 29 May 1839 at Harby, Leicestershire, England^G.² She married, secondly, Lucius Bentinck Cary, 10th Viscount of Falkland, son of Captain Charles John Cary, 9th Viscount of Falkland and Christiana Anton, on 10 November 1859.¹ She died on 2 December 1893 at St. Leonards-on-Sea, Sussex, England^G.¹
     After her marriage, Elizabeth Catherine Gubbins was styled as Duchess of Saint Albans on 29 May 1839. From 29 May 1839, her married name became Beauclerk. From 10 November 1859, her married name became Cary. After her marriage, Elizabeth Catherine Gubbins was styled as Viscountess Falkland on 10 November 1859.

     Nerissa Jane Irene Bowes-Lyon was born on 18 February 1919.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. John Herbert Bowes-Lyon and Hon. Fenella Hepburn-Stuart-Forbes-Trefusis.² She died in 1986, unmarried.³
     She lived between 1941 and 1986 at Royal Earlswood Hospital, Surrey, England^G.³
     She was mentally impaired from birth.³ Burkes Peerage had erroneously reported her as having died in 1940.³

     William Ameleus Aubrey de Vere Beauclerk, 10th Duke of Saint Albans was born on 15 April 1840 at London, England^G.³ He was the son of William Aubrey de Vere Beauclerk, 9th Duke of Saint Albans and Elizabeth Catherine Gubbins.³ He married, firstly, Lady Sybil Mary Grey, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Hon. Charles Grey and Caroline Eliza Farquhar, on 20 June 1867 at London, England^G.⁴ He married, secondly, Grace Bernal-Osborne, daughter of Sir Ralph Bernal-Osborne and Catherine Isabella Osborne, on 3 January 1874 at Newtown Anner, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.³ He died on 10 May 1898 at age 58.³
     He succeeded as the 7th Baron Vere of Hanworth, co. Middlesex [G.B., 1750] on 27 May 1849.³ He succeeded as the 10th Baron Heddington, co. Oxford [E., 1676] on 27 May 1849.³ He succeeded as the 10th Duke of Saint Albans [E., 1684] on 27 May 1849.³ He succeeded as the 10th Earl of Burford, co. Oxford [E., 1676] on 27 May 1849.³ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.³ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lincolnshire in 1860.³ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.³ He held the office of Captain of the Yeoman of the Guard between 1868 and 1874.³ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1869.³ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire between 1880 and 1898.³ He wrote the book Life of R B Osborne.³
