     Hon. Montague Abercromby was born on 25 May 1807.¹ She was the daughter of George Abercromby, 2nd Baron Abercromby of Aboukir and Tullibody and Hon. Montague Dundas.^2,3 She married Fox Maule-Ramsay, 11th Earl of Dalhousie, son of William Maule-Ramsay, 1st Lord Panmure and Patricia Heron Gordon, on 4 April 1831.¹ She died on 11 November 1853 at age 46, without issue.¹
     Her married name became Maule.

     George Abercromby, 2nd Baron Abercromby of Aboukir and Tullibody was born on 14 October 1770 at Tullibody, Clackmannanshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Ralph Abercromby and Mary Anne Menzies, Baroness Abercromby of Aboukir and Tullibody.¹ He married Hon. Montague Dundas, daughter of Henry Dundas, 1st Viscount Melville of Melville and Elizabeth Rannie, on 20 January 1799 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He died on 15 February 1843 at age 72 at Airthrey Castle, Stirlingshire, Scotland^G.^1,2 He was buried at Tullibody, Clackmannanshire, Scotland^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 19 April 1843.¹
     He was an Advocate on 5 July 1794.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Edinburgh between 1805 and 1806.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Clackmannanshire between 1806 and 1807.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Clackmannanshire between 1812 and 1815.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Abercromby of Aboukir and Tullibody, co. Clackmannan [U.K., 1801] on 11 February 1821.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Stirlingshire between 1837 and 1843.¹ His last will was dated 16 December 1841.

     Janet Rochead was born in 1662.² She was the daughter of Sir James Rochead of Inverleith.¹ She married, firstly, Alexander Murray of Melgund before 1691.³ She married, secondly, Hon. Sir David Dalrymple of Hailes, 1st Bt., son of James Dalrymple, 1st Viscount of Stair and Margaret Ross, on 4 April 1691.³ She died on 26 December 1726.³
     From before 1691, her married name became Murray.³ Her married name became Dalrymple.

     Sir James Rochead of Inverleith was appointed Knight. He lived at Inverleith, Scotland^G.²

     Anne Newton was the daughter of John Newton.¹ She married James Kitson, son of William Kitson and Hannah Wilkinson, on 13 September 1828 at St. Peter’s, Leeds, Yorkshire, England.^2,3
     From 13 September 1828, her married name became Kitson.²

     Margaret Ross was the daughter of Major James Ross of Balneil and Sara Syme.¹ She married, firstly, Fergus Kennedy of Knockdaw before 1643.² She married, secondly, James Dalrymple, 1st Viscount of Stair, son of James Dalrymple of Stair and Drummurchie and Janet Kennedy, on 21 September 1643.² She died in 1692.²
     From before 1643, her married name became Kennedy.² Her married name became Dalrymple. After her marriage, Margaret Ross was styled as Viscountess of Stair on 21 April 1690.

     Major James Ross of Balneil was the son of Gilbert Ross and Christian Forrester.² He married Sara Syme, daughter of Alexander Syme, after 8 February 1623.²
     He lived at Balneil, Scotland^G.³

     John Newton lived at Leeds, Yorkshire, England.²

     Susan Harriet Grant-Suttie was born on 11 February 1859 at Chirnside, Berwickshire, Scotland.² She was the daughter of Sir James Grant-Suttie, 6th Bt. and Lady Susan Harriet Innes-Ker.¹ She was baptised on 24 March 1859 at Prestonpans, East Lothian, Scotland.² She married, firstly, John Hew North Gustav Henry Hamilton Dalrymple, 11th Earl of Stair, son of John Hamilton Dalrymple, 10th Earl of Stair and Louisa Jane Henrietta Emily de Franquetot, on 10 April 1878.¹ She and John Hew North Gustav Henry Hamilton Dalrymple, 11th Earl of Stair were divorced in 1905.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Neil James Menzies of that Ilk, 8th Bt., son of Sir Robert Menzies of that Ilk, 7th Bt. and Annie Balcarres Stewart, on 15 July 1905.¹ She died on 9 February 1946 at age 86.¹
     Her married name became Dalrymple. After her marriage, Susan Harriet Grant-Suttie was styled as Countess of Stair on 3 December 1903. From 15 July 1905, her married name became Menzies.¹

     Sir James Grant-Suttie, 6th Bt. was born on 25 May 1830.¹ He was the son of Sir George Grant-Suttie of Balgone, 5th Bt. and Lady Harriet Charteris.¹ He married Lady Susan Harriet Innes-Ker, daughter of James Henry Robert Innes-Ker, 6th Duke of Roxburghe and Susanna Stephenia Dalbiac, on 6 August 1857.¹ He died on 30 October 1878 at age 48.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Berwickshire.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Haddington, Berwick, Linlithgow and Peebles Artillery Militia.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Suttie, of Balgone [N.S., 1702] on 19 June 1878.¹
