Her married name became Cochrane. After her marriage, Lady Gertrude Julia Georgina Boyle was styled as Baroness Cochrane of Cults on 16 May 1919. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1920.2

Renfrew [U.K., 1815] on 11 March 1869.1 He succeeded as the 6th Viscount Kelburn [S., 1703] on 11 March 1869.2 He succeeded as the 6th Lord Boyle, of Stewartoun, Cumbraes, Fenwick, Largs and Dalry [S., 1703] on 11 March 1869.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Renfrewshire.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Fife.2 He held the office of Lord Clerk Register of Scotland.2 On his death, his UK barony became extinct.1

Andrew Gray, 7th Lord Gray1 
He made over the Hereditary Sheriffship of Forfarshire to the Crown for 50,000 marks, although this was never paid.2 He succeeded as the 7th Lord Gray [S., 1445] on 4 September 1611.2 He was Lieutenant of the Scots Gendarmes in France between 1624 and 1654.2 On 8 January 1637/38 he obtained a regrant of his titles, with the same precendence as before, but with a special remainder to his son-in-law and cousin, William Gray and failing that, to William’s father, Sir William Gray of Pittendrum.2 In 1649 he was excommunicated by the Scottish Assembly, as a Roman Catholic.2 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.4
