Norfolk [U.K., 1840] on 31 May 1919.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Essex.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Essex.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex in 1928.1
