Katherine Knyvett was born in 1547.2 She was the daughter of Sir Henry Knyvett and Anne Pickering.1,3 She married, firstly, Henry Paget, 2nd Lord Paget (of Beaudesert), son of William Paget, 1st Lord Paget (of Beaudesert) and Anne Preston, on 20 May 1567 at West Drayton, London, EnglandG.1 She married, secondly, Sir Edward Cary, son of Sir John Cary and Joice Denny, after 1568.3 She died on 20 December 1622.3 She was buried on 22 December 1622 at Aldenham, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.3
After her marriage, Katherine Knyvett was styled as Baroness Paget of Beaudesert on 20 May 1567. From 20 May 1567, her married name became Paget. From after 1568, her married name became Cary.3
