Robert de Willoughby, 6th Lord Willoughby de Eresby1 
He succeeded as the 6th Lord Willoughby de Eresby [E., 1313] on 4 December 1409.2 He fought in the Normandy and Bordeaux Campaigns from 1412 to 1413.2 He fought in the Battle of Agincourt in 1415.2 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) circa 1417.2 He fought in the Battle of Verneuil on 17 August 1424.2 He was created Comte de Vendôme on 20 September 1424.2 He fought in the Battle of Vivoin, which he lost to the France.2 He was created Comte de Beaumont-sur-Osie on 4 October 1430.2 He held the office of King’s Lieutenant of Normandy.2 He held the office of Captain of Bayeux between 1433 and 1437.2 He held the office of Captain of Pont de l’Arche circa 1434.2 From 1435 to 1436 he held Paris until he was forced to capitulate.2 On 17 April 1436 he holed up in the Bastille.2 On his death his French honours became extinct.2
