Henry Stafford, 1st Baron Stafford1 
In 1522 he was granted by King Henry VIII several of his father’s forfeited lands in Staffordshire and other counties.2 In 1531 he was granted the Manor and Castle of Stafford.2 He held the office of Recorder of Stafford in 1532.2 He was created 1st Baron Stafford [England] in November 1547.2 He held the office of Bencher of Middle Temple before 1551.2 He held the office of Chamberlain of the Exchequer in February 1553/54.2 On 12 February 1557/58 he was restored in blood (but not his father’s titles) and by House Lords resolution he had back the precedency of the original Barony of Stafford.2 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire in 1559.2 He held the office of Ranger of Cannock Forest in 1560.2 He had at least seven other children.2
