Teige McMurrough O’Brien1 
He assumed headship of his branch of the O’Briens after his father’s and elder brother’s deaths, keeping up the feud with the 3rd Earl of Thomond.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Clare between 1567 and 1570.1 He lived at Smithstown, Ireland.1
