From 20 May 1673, her married name became Power.3 After her marriage, Katherine FitzGerald was styled as Countess of Tyrone on 20 May 1673. Her married name became Villiers. Her marriage to Richard Power, 1st Earl of Tyrone was annulled.3 Her married name became Steuart.2 On 6 January 1699/0 she was granted the rank of a viscount’s wife by Royal Warrant.2

John FitzGerald, 1st and last Earl Grandison was born circa 1684.3 He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Hon. Edward FitzGerald and Katherine FitzGerald.3 He married Frances Cary, daughter of Edward Cary and Hon. Anne Lucas, in February 1705/6.4 He died on 14 May 1766, without surviving male issue.3
He was also known as John Villiers.3 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Grandison of Limerick, co. Leitrim [I., 1621] on 16 December 1699.3 He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Old Sarum between May 1705 and December 1705.3 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1721.3 He was created 1st Earl Grandison, co. Leitrim [Ireland] on 11 September 1721.3 On his death, his earldom became extinct.3
