     Lady Harriet Christian Douglas was the daughter of Charles Douglas, 6th Marquess of Queensberry and Lady Caroline Scott.^1,2 She married Very Rev. Augustus Duncombe, son of Charles Duncombe, 1st Baron Feversham of Duncombe Park and Lady Charlotte Legge, on 13 May 1841.² She died on 26 July 1902.²
     Her married name became Duncombe.

     Anthony Duncombe, 1st and last Lord Feversham, Baron of Downton was born circa 1695.¹ He was the son of Anthony Duncombe and Jane Cornwallis.² He married, firstly, Hon. Margaret Verney, daughter of George Verney, 12th Lord Willoughby de Broke and Margaret Heath, on 1 January 1715/16.² He married, secondly, Frances Bathurst, daughter of Peter Bathurst and Lady Selina Shirley, in November 1756.¹ He married, thirdly, Anne Hales, daughter of Sir Thomas Hales, 3rd Bt. and Mary Marsham, on 10 July 1758.¹ He died on 18 June 1763.¹
     In 1721 he inherited half his uncle Sir Charles Duncombe’s immense wealth.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Salisbury between 1721 and 1734.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Downton between 1734 and 1747.¹ He was created 1st Lord Feversham, Baron of Downton, co. Wilts [Great Britain] on 23 June 1747.¹ He lived at Barford, Wiltshire, England^G. He lived at Downton, Wiltshire, England^G.

     Very Rev. Augustus Duncombe was born on 2 November 1814.¹ He was the son of Charles Duncombe, 1st Baron Feversham of Duncombe Park and Lady Charlotte Legge.² He married Lady Harriet Christian Douglas, daughter of Charles Douglas, 6th Marquess of Queensberry and Lady Caroline Scott, on 13 May 1841.¹ He died on 26 January 1880 at age 65.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He held the office of Dean of York.¹

     Lady Jane Margaret Mary Douglas was the daughter of Charles Douglas, 6th Marquess of Queensberry and Lady Caroline Scott.¹ She married Robert Johnstone-Douglas of Lockerbie, son of Henry Alexander Douglas and Elizabeth Dalzell, on 27 January 1841.¹ She died on 15 April 1881.¹
     Her married name became Johnstone-Douglas.

     Lady Elizabeth Katrinka Douglas was the daughter of Charles Douglas, 6th Marquess of Queensberry and Lady Caroline Scott.¹ She married Henry St. George Foote on 7 November 1861. She died on 26 April 1874.
     Her married name became Foote.

     Lady Margaret Lygon was born on 8 October 1874.¹ She was the daughter of Frederick Lygon, 6th Earl Beauchamp and Lady Mary Catherine Stanhope.¹ She married Arthur Oliver Villiers Russell, 2nd Baron Ampthill, son of Odo William Leopold Russell, 1st Baron Ampthill and Lady Emily Theresa Villiers, on 6 October 1894 at Madresfield, Worcestershire, England^G.¹ She died on 12 December 1957 at age 83.²
     After her marriage, Lady Margaret Lygon was styled as Baroness Ampthill on 6 October 1894. From 6 October 1894, her married name became Russell. She was awarded the Imperial Order of the Crown of India (C.I.) in 1900.³ She was awarded the Kaisar-i-Hind Gold Medal in 1906.³ She held the office of Lady of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Mary.³ She was appointed Dame Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1918.³ She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)³ She was appointed Dame Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.) in 1946.³

     Lady Anne Georgina Douglas was the daughter of Charles Douglas, 6th Marquess of Queensberry and Lady Caroline Scott.¹ She married Charles Stirling-Home-Drummond-Moray, 9th of Blair Drummond and 19th of Abercairny, son of Henry Home-Drummond, 7th of Blair Drummond and Christian Moray, 18th of Abercairney, on 11 December 1845.¹ She died on 28 November 1899.¹
     Her married name became Stirling-Home-Drummond-Moray.

     Lady Mary Lygon was born on 26 February 1869.² She was the daughter of Frederick Lygon, 6th Earl Beauchamp and Lady Mary Catherine Stanhope.^2,3 She married Lt.-Col. Hon. Henry Walter Hepburn-Stuart-Forbes-Trefusis, son of Charles Henry Rolle Hepburn-Stuart-Forbes-Trefusis, 20th Lord Clinton and Harriet Williamina Hepburn-Forbes, on 6 May 1905.¹ She died on 12 September 1927 at age 58.¹
     She held the office of Lady of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Mary.¹ Her married name became Hepburn-Stuart-Forbes-Trefusis.

     Henry Alexander Douglas was born on 7 October 1781.² He was the son of Sir William Douglas, 4th Bt. and Grace Johnstone.² He married Elizabeth Dalzell, daughter of Robert Dalzell and Anne Armstrong, on 31 August 1812.¹ He died on 16 March 1837 at age 55.²

     Elizabeth Dalzell was born on 20 October 1790.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Dalzell and Anne Armstrong.¹ She married Henry Alexander Douglas, son of Sir William Douglas, 4th Bt. and Grace Johnstone, on 31 August 1812.¹ She died before March 1837.²
     Her married name became Douglas.
