He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 12th Baron Craven of Hampsted Marshall, Berkshire [E., 1627] on 15 September 1932.1 He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Craven [U.K., 1801] on 15 September 1932.1 He succeeded as the 6th Viscount Uffington, co. Berkshire [U.K., 1801] on 15 September 1932.1 He was educated at Northamptonshire Institute of Agriculture, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant (E) in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.2 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He held the office of Member of the East Sussex County Council in 1957.2 He was awarded the Knight, Sovereign Military Order of Malta in 1959.2
