     Sir Francis Thornhagh was born in 1617.² He was the son of Francis Thornhagh and Jane Jackson.² He died in 1648, killed in action.²
     He fought in the Battle of Preston in 1648.²

     Lady Anne Shirley was born on 24 May 1708.² She was the daughter of Robert Shirley, 1st Earl Ferrers and Selina Finch.³ She married Sir Robert Furnese, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Henry Furnese and Anne Brough, on 15 May 1729.¹ She died on 25 February 1779 at age 70.¹ She was also reported to have died on 6 February 1779.²
     From 15 May 1729, her married name became Furnese.¹

     Sir William Cooke, 2nd Bt. held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Norfolk.¹ He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Cooke, of Brome Hall, Norfolk.¹

     Lady Selina Shirley was born on 2 July 1701.² She was the daughter of Robert Shirley, 1st Earl Ferrers and Selina Finch.³ She married Peter Bathurst, son of Sir Benjamin Bathurst and Frances Apsley.⁴ She died on 14 December 1777 at age 76.²
     Her married name became Bathurst.⁴

     Willem Georg Friso von Nassau-Dietz was born on 24 June 1684.¹ He was the son of Heinrich Kasimir Fürst von Nassau-Dietz and Henriette Amalie Marie Prinzessin von Anhalt-Dessau.¹ He died on 25 June 1685 at age 1.¹

     Agnes (?) married Fulcher de Edensor, son of Fulcher fitz Sewallis.¹

     Alfred Hugh Atherley Kidston was born on 14 January 2013.¹ He is the son of Hugo A. Kidston and Henriette Mary J. Peace.¹

     Mary Jane Moon was the daughter of Robert Moon and Mary Jane Pacy.² She married Walter Knight Shirley, 11th Earl Ferrers, son of Reverend Walter Waddington Shirley and Philippa Frances Emilia Knight, on 9 July 1890.¹ She died on 10 January 1944.¹
     From 9 July 1890, her married name became Shirley. After her marriage, Mary Jane Moon was styled as Countess Ferrers on 26 July 1912.

     Hon. Andrew Shirley was born on 29 December 1900.¹ He was the son of Walter Knight Shirley, 11th Earl Ferrers and Mary Jane Moon.² He married Ethel Muriel Lewis, daughter of John Henry David Ellis Lewis, on 30 April 1927.¹ He died on 20 June 1958 at age 57.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1922 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was Assistant Keeper of the Fine Art Department Oxford between 1925 and 1929 at Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1926 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was manager of the Times Book Club between 1939 and 1950.¹
