     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was the assistant editor of the Morning Post between 1932 and 1935.¹ He was the managing editor of the Morning Post between 1935 and 1937.¹ Wing Commander.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1946.¹

     Baroness Barbara Korff was born in 1911. She is the daughter of Baron Serge Alexandrovich Korff.¹ She married, firstly, Hon. Edward Wriothesley Curzon Russell, son of Arthur Oliver Villiers Russell, 2nd Baron Ampthill and Lady Margaret Lygon, on 11 October 1941.¹ She married, secondly, Arthur Farwell in 1988.¹

     From 1992, her married name became Howell.¹

     Brigadier Hon. Leopold Oliver Russell was born on 26 January 1907.¹ He was the son of Arthur Oliver Villiers Russell, 2nd Baron Ampthill and Lady Margaret Lygon.¹ He married Rosemary Wintour, daughter of Captain Charles John Wintour, on 9 May 1935.¹ He and Rosemary Wintour were divorced in 1954.¹ He died in January 1989 at Kensington, London, England.^1,2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment, Territorial Army.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1944.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1945.¹ He held the office of Assistant Secretary, Board of Trade between 1946 and 1947.¹ He was a director of the British Institute of Management between 1947 and 1956.¹ He held the office of Director-General of the British Cement and Concrete Association in 1958.¹

     Rosemary Wintour is the daughter of Captain Charles John Wintour.¹ She married Brigadier Hon. Leopold Oliver Russell, son of Arthur Oliver Villiers Russell, 2nd Baron Ampthill and Lady Margaret Lygon, on 9 May 1935.¹ She and Brigadier Hon. Leopold Oliver Russell were divorced in 1954.¹
     Her married name became Russell.

     Captain Charles John Wintour married Katherine Mary Keyes, daughter of General Sir Charles Patton Keyes and Katherine Jessie Norman, on 3 October 1900.² He died on 31 May 1916, killed in action.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the Battle of Jutland on 31 May 1916.²

     Major Alaric Charles William Russell was born on 16 March 1912.¹ He was the son of Hon. Sir Odo William Theophilus Villiers Russell and Countess Marie Louise Rex.¹ He married Iris Charmian van Raalte, daughter of Noel Marcus van Raalte and Iris Enid Florence Graham, on 6 April 1940.¹ He died on 15 August 1986 at age 74.^1,2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Queen’s Westminsters, King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He was registered as a Member, London Stock Exchange.¹

     Iris Charmian van Raalte was born on 9 October 1916.² She was the daughter of Noel Marcus van Raalte and Iris Enid Florence Graham.¹ She married Major Alaric Charles William Russell, son of Hon. Sir Odo William Theophilus Villiers Russell and Countess Marie Louise Rex, on 6 April 1940.¹ She died in January 2002 at age 85 at London, England.²
     Her married name became Russell. She lived in 1999 at 44 Linver Road, London, England^G.¹
