Flint [G.B., 1774] on 4 October 1828.4 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Shrewsbury between 1832 and 1837.3 He held the office of High Sheriff of Flint from 1832 to 1833.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hull between 1841 and 1847.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Flint Burghs between 1847 and 1872.3 He was created 1st Baron Hanmer of Hanmer and Flint, co. Flint [U.K.] on 1 October 1872.1 On his death, his title became extinct.3
