He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was chairman of Stepney Trust between 1934 and 1941.1 He was a member of the London County Council between 1937 and 1941.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Power, of Newlands Manor, Parish of Milford, co. Southampton [U.K., 1924] on 5 June 1950.1
