     Mary Scudamore was the daughter of Sir James Scudamore and Mary Throckmorton.¹ She married Sir Giles Brydges, 1st Bt., son of Hon. Charles Brydges and Jane Carne. She died before September 1634.¹ She was buried at Peterstowe, Herefordshire, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Brydges.¹

     Mary Throckmorton was born in 1540.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Throckmorton.³ She married Sir James Scudamore. She died on 16 December 1608.¹
     Her married name became Scudamore. She was also known as Anne Throckmorton.³

     Susan Amelia Hewer was born in 1864 at Sherborne, Gloucestershire, England.¹ She married George Popham, son of John Popham and Elizabeth Fishwick, on 9 August 1888 at Beaminster, Dorset, England.¹
     From 9 August 1888, her married name became Popham.¹

     Sir John Brydges, 2nd Bt. was born in 1623.¹ He was the son of Sir Giles Brydges, 1st Bt. and Mary Scudamore.¹ He married Mary Pearle, daughter of James Pearle.² He died on 21 February 1651/52 at Bridges Street, Covent Gardens, London, England^G, from small pox.¹ He was buried at Peterstowe, Herefordshire, England^G.¹ He died intestate and his estate was administered on 10 March 1651/52.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Brydges, of Wilton, co. Hereford [E., 1627] on 12 September 1637.¹ He matriculated at Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 4 May 1638.¹ His castle at Wilton was burnt by the Royalists, and so he took up with the Parliamentarians, and was instrumental in the surprise of Hereford by the Parliamentarians.¹

     Mary Pearle was the daughter of James Pearle.¹ She married, firstly, Sir John Brydges, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Giles Brydges, 1st Bt. and Mary Scudamore.³ She married, secondly, Sir William Powell, 1st Bt., son of Anne Powell, after 1652.¹ She was buried at Aconbury, Herefordshire, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Brydges.¹ From after 1652, her married name became Powell.¹

     Sir William Powell, 1st Bt. was the son of Anne Powell. He married Katherine Zouche, daughter of Richard Zouche and Sarah Hart, on 22 May 1649.² He married, secondly, Mary Pearle, daughter of James Pearle, after 1652.¹ He died in 1681.¹
     He was given the name of William Hinson at birth. He was also known as William Powell.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Powell, of Pengethly, co. Hereford [England] on 23 January 1660/61.¹

     Thomas Davall was the son of Sir Thomas Davall and Lydia Catherine van Hatten.¹ He died in 1718.¹

     Emma Charlton is the daughter of Robert Charlton.¹

     Robert Charlton lived at Whitton Court, Shropshire, England^G.¹

     Alexander Abernethy, 4th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy was the son of James Abernethy, 3rd Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and unknown wife (?)^2,3 He married unknown daughter Stewart, daughter of James Stewart, 1st Earl of Buchan and Margaret Ogilvy.² He died before 25 July 1527.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy [S., 1445] in 1505.² He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.² Between 1514 and 1517 he bought much land in Banffshire.² He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] before September 1514.²
