     Sir Michael Wemyss of Wemyss was born before 1304.² He was the son of Sir David Wemyss of Wemyss and Marjory Ramsay.^3,1 He died circa 1342.²
     He was appointed Knight circa 1316.³ He fought in the Battle of Halidon Hill in 1333, where he was captured by the English.³ He was set free after swearing fealty to King Edward III.³

     Giles Ross is the daughter of Sir John Ross, 1st Lord Ross of Halkhead and Marjory Mure.¹ She married James Auchinleck of Glenbervie, son of Sir John Auchinleck of Glenbervie and Elizabeth Melville, after 3 March 1480.¹
     From after 3 March 1480, her married name became Auchinleck.¹

     Marjory Auchinleck is the daughter of James Auchinleck of Glenbervie and Giles Ross.¹ She married Alexander Barclay, 7th of Mathers, son of David Barclay of Fawside, younger of Mathers and Janet Irvine.¹

     Georgiana Fanny Dent was born in 1843 at Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, England.¹ She was the daughter of Rear-Admiral Charles Calmady Dent and Lady Selina Arabella Lucy Hastings.¹ She married James Whicher on 3 May 1860 at South Bersted, Sussex, England.¹ She married Thomas Henry Charleton on 18 April 1891 at Christ Church, East Greenwich, London, England.¹ She died in 1927 at Axebridge, Somerset, England.¹
     From 3 May 1860, her married name became Whicher.¹ From 18 April 1891, her married name became Charleton.¹

     James Whicher was born before 22 June 1825 at Petersfield, Hampshire, England.¹ He married Georgiana Fanny Dent, daughter of Rear-Admiral Charles Calmady Dent and Lady Selina Arabella Lucy Hastings, on 3 May 1860 at South Bersted, Sussex, England.¹ He died on 20 May 1878 at Malta.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He was Deputy-Inspector-General of Hospitals and Fleets, Royal Navy.¹

     Thomas Henry Charleton was born before 2 November 1828 at St. Saviour, Jersey, Channel Islands.¹ He married Penrose Durell Hammond, daughter of Jean Hammond and Jane Penrose le Breton, on 12 November 1855 at St. Saviour, Jersey, Channel Islands.¹ He married Georgiana Fanny Dent, daughter of Rear-Admiral Charles Calmady Dent and Lady Selina Arabella Lucy Hastings, on 18 April 1891 at Christ Church, East Greenwich, London, England.¹ He died in 1910 at Cricklade, Wiltshire, England.¹

     Penrose Durell Hammond was born in 1830 at Jersey, Channel Islands.¹ She was the daughter of Jean Hammond and Jane Penrose le Breton.¹ She married Thomas Henry Charleton on 12 November 1855 at St. Saviour, Jersey, Channel Islands.¹ She died in 1887 at Hastings, Sussex, England.¹
     From 12 November 1855, her married name became Charleton.¹
