     Sarah Mary Cavendish was born on 27 August 1813 at Sutton Court, Chiswick, London, England^G.² She was the daughter of General Hon. Henry Frederick Compton Cavendish and Sarah Fawkener.³ She married John Frederick Vaughan Campbell of Cawdor, 2nd Earl Cawdor of Castlemartin, son of John Frederick Campbell of Cawdor, 1st Earl Cawdor of Castlemartin and Lady Elizabeth Thynne, on 28 June 1842 at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.^1,4 She died on 21 April 1881 at age 67 at Stackpole Court, Pembrokeshire, Wales^G.^1,2
     She was Maid of Honour to Queen Victoria between 1837 and 1842.² Her married name became Campbell. After her marriage, Sarah Mary Cavendish was styled as Countess Cawdor of Castlemartin on 7 November 1860.

     Ethel Elizabeth Louisa Milner was born on 4 September 1860.² She was the daughter of Henry Beilby William Milner and Charlotte Henrietta Beresford.^1,2 She married John George Lambton, 3rd Earl of Durham, son of George Frederick D’Arcy Lambton, 2nd Earl of Durham and Lady Beatrix Frances Hamilton, on 28 October 1882.¹ She died on 28 October 1931 at age 71.¹
     After her marriage, Ethel Elizabeth Louisa Milner was styled as Countess of Durham on 28 October 1882. From 28 October 1882, her married name became Lambton.

     Francis William Henry Cavendish was born on 6 February 1820.¹ He was the son of General Hon. Henry Frederick Compton Cavendish and Frances Susan Lambton.¹ He married, firstly, Lady Eleanor Sophia Diana FitzGibbon, daughter of Richard Hobart FitzGibbon, 3rd Earl of Clare and Diana Woodcock, on 24 April 1856.¹ He and Lady Eleanor Sophia Diana FitzGibbon were divorced in 1866 she was sued for divorce by her husband who cited Palmerston (then Prime Minister) as co-respondent.¹ He married, secondly, Ianthe Florence Skyring, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Charles Francis Skyring and Georgina Halahan, on 14 October 1876.¹ He died on 12 January 1893 at age 72.¹
     He was with the Foreign Office.¹

     Henry Charles Lambton Cavendish was the son of General Hon. Henry Frederick Compton Cavendish and Frances Susan Lambton.¹ He died on 6 October 1839.¹

     Charles William Cavendish was born on 24 September 1822 at Chiswick, London, England.^1,2 He was the son of General Hon. Henry Frederick Compton Cavendish and Frances Susan Lambton.¹ He married, firstly, Felicia Susan Lygon, daughter of General Henry Beauchamp Lygon, 4th Earl Beauchamp and Lady Susan Caroline Eliot, on 27 October 1847.¹ He married, secondly, Louisa C. Cockburn, daughter of Sir Alexander James Edmund Cockburn, of Langton, 12th Bt. and Elizabeth Ann Louisa Dalley Godfrey, on 25 June 1863.¹ He married, thirdly, Mary Gregg, daughter of Ivie Gregg, on 16 June 1873.¹ He died on 21 December 1890 at age 68 at Isle of Wight, England.²

     George Henry Cavendish was born on 9 January 1824.¹ He was the son of General Hon. Henry Frederick Compton Cavendish and Frances Susan Lambton.¹ He married Emily Victorine Elizabeth Rumbold, daughter of Sir William Rumbold, 3rd Bt. and Hon. Henrietta Elizabeth Parkyns, on 16 October 1848.² He and Emily Victorine Elizabeth Rumbold were divorced in 1866.² He died on 21 January 1889 at age 65.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Life Guards.¹

     Caroline Fanny Cavendish was born on 11 November 1826.¹ She was the daughter of General Hon. Henry Frederick Compton Cavendish and Frances Susan Lambton.¹ She died on 25 January 1910 at age 83, unmarried.¹
     She was Maid-of-Honour to HM Queen Victoria.¹ She held the office of Extra Women of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Victoria.¹ She was appointed Lady, Royal Order of Victoria and Albert (V.A.)¹

     Susanna Emma Byerlie was the daughter of William Byerlie.¹ She married General Hon. Henry Frederick Compton Cavendish, son of George Augustus Henry Cavendish, 1st Earl of Burlington and Lady Elizabeth Compton, on 28 January 1873.¹ She died in 1910.¹
     Her married name became Cavendish.

     Lady Moyra de Vere Beauclerk was born on 20 January 1876.² She was the daughter of William Ameleus Aubrey de Vere Beauclerk, 10th Duke of Saint Albans and Grace Bernal-Osborne.^1,2 She married Rt. Hon. Lord Richard Frederick Cavendish, son of Lord Edward Cavendish and Hon. Emma Elizabeth Lascelles, on 31 July 1895.¹ She died on 7 February 1942 at age 66.¹
     Her married name became Cavendish.

     Rt. Hon. Lord Richard Frederick Cavendish was born on 31 January 1871.³ He was the son of Lord Edward Cavendish and Hon. Emma Elizabeth Lascelles.³ He married Lady Moyra de Vere Beauclerk, daughter of William Ameleus Aubrey de Vere Beauclerk, 10th Duke of Saint Albans and Grace Bernal-Osborne, on 31 July 1895.³ He died on 7 January 1946 at age 74.³
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lonsdale between 1895 and 1906.³ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lancashire.³ He was Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for India.³ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 4th Batttalion, Royal Lancashire Regiment.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire.³ In November 1908 he was granted the rank of a duke’s younger son.³ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1912.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded and was mentioned in despatches.³ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1915.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)³ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1919.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 56th (Ling’s Own Regiment) Anti-Tank Regiment.³
