Henry Ryder, 4th Earl of Harrowby was born on 3 May 1836.3 He was the son of Dudley Ryder, 2nd Earl of Harrowby and Lady Frances Stuart.1 He married Susan Juliana Maria Hamilton Dent, daughter of Villiers Dent, on 17 May 1859.3 He died on 11 December 1900 at age 64.3
