     Lady Elizabeth Cavendish was the daughter of William Cavendish, 1st Duke of Devonshire and Lady Mary Butler.¹ She married Sir John Wentworth, 1st Bt.¹
     Her married name became Wentworth.¹

     Lord James Cavendish was the son of William Cavendish, 2nd Duke of Devonshire and Rachel Russell.¹ He died on 14 December 1741, unmarried.¹

     Lord George Augustus Cavendish was the son of William Cavendish, 3rd Duke of Devonshire and Catherine Hoskins.¹ He died on 2 May 1794, unmarried.¹
     He lived at Holker, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     Field Marshal Lord Frederick Cavendish was born in 1729.¹ He was the son of William Cavendish, 3rd Duke of Devonshire and Catherine Hoskins.¹ He died on 21 October 1803, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 34th Foot.¹

     Lord John Cavendish was born on 22 October 1732 at Berkeley House, Piccadilly, London, England.^1,2 He was the son of William Cavendish, 3rd Duke of Devonshire and Catherine Hoskins.¹ He died in 1796.²
     He held the office of Chancellor of the Exchequer between 1782 and 1783.¹

     Sarah Fawkener was born on 27 May 1789.² She was the daughter of William Augustus Fawkener and Elizabeth Wright.^1,2 She married General Hon. Henry Frederick Compton Cavendish, son of George Augustus Henry Cavendish, 1st Earl of Burlington and Lady Elizabeth Compton, on 24 October 1811.¹ She died on 31 October 1817 at age 28 at London, England.^1,2
     Her married name became Cavendish.

     Lt.-Col. William Henry Frederick Cavendish was born on 31 October 1817.¹ He was the son of General Hon. Henry Frederick Compton Cavendish and Sarah Fawkener.¹ He married Lady Emily Augusta Lambton, daughter of John George Lambton, 1st Earl of Durham and Lady Louisa Elizabeth Grey, on 19 August 1843.¹ He died on 11 March 1881 at age 63.¹
     He held the office of Groom-in-Waiting to HM Queen Victoria.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Chatsworth Rifles.¹

     Elizabeth Georgiana Harriett Cavendish was the daughter of General Hon. Henry Frederick Compton Cavendish and Sarah Fawkener.¹ She married, firstly, William Bernard Harcourt on 3 February 1837.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Gen. James R. Crauford on 30 June 1852.¹ She died on 3 January 1892.¹
     From 3 February 1837, her married name became Harcourt. From 30 June 1852, her married name became Crauford.
