Charlotte Margaret Gunning was the daughter of Sir Robert Gunning, 1st Bt. and Anne Sutton.1,3 She married Colonel Hon. Stephen Digby, son of Hon. Edward Digby and Charlotte Fox, on 6 January 1790.1 She died in 1794.1
She held the office of Maid of Honour to Queen Charlotte.3 Her married name became Digby.

He held the office of Minister Plenipotentiary to Berlin.2 He held the office of Minister Plenipotentiary to St. Petersburg.2 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.)2 He was created 1st Baronet Gunning, of Eltham, co. Kent [Great Britain] on 3 September 1778.2 He lived at Horton, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.2
