Somerset [G.B., 1747] on 10 January 1865.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Dorset Yeomanry Cavalry.1 He held the office of Captain of the Gentleman at Arms between January 1874 and February 1874.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset between 1895 and 1905.1
