     Lily Anne Gunning was born on 3 November 1829.² She was the daughter of Major John Gunning and Jessie Miller Babington.¹ She was baptised on 7 December 1829 at Cannanore, Tamil Nadu, India^G.² She married Reverend Granville Sykes Howard-Vyse, son of Richard William Howard Howard-Vyse, on 9 December 1852 at Hardingstone, Northamptonshire, England^G.² She died on 16 April 1869 at age 39 at Christchurch, Hampshire, England^G.²
     From 9 December 1852, her married name became Vyse.²

     Kathleen Irene Wilson was the daughter of P. W. A. Wilson.¹ She married Major Jack Hamilton Gunning, son of Colonel George Hamilton Gunning and Wynifred Florence Langton Challice, on 4 August 1951.¹ She died in 1993.¹
